The room was lovely overlooking green hill side with sheep,breakfast was good freshly cooked to perfection staff were ok but didn’t go above and beyond in the coffee area it was a little dark and dinghy and lacked sound proofing there is a dinning area which is bright and quite luxurious but wasn’t allowed in that area for coffees which was disappointing

Hidden gem.

First time to the area, for a family wedding at another venue. Staff were great, friiendly with out being over bearing. Room was clean and well maintained and although we only had bar snacks and drinks on site, they were great.

A very comfortable stay and easy driving distance to relatives. Traffic noise a little intrusive but quickly cured by shutting the windows!! In a heatwave the hotel has a really cool atmosphere.

The hotel appealed due to location and overall look of the place. Staff were very helpful and although my room was comfortable and generally clean it needed some attention to detail! It would have benefitted from a deep clean, including doors and woodwork, stain on one of the beds duvet, and some moulding around shower head and bath sealant. General wear and tear making room tired looking. Sadly my heating was not working but staff did provide a heater. As mentioned my stay was comfortable but room just needs some attention. The hotel facilities looked really nice, particularly dining area and bar but I did not use as a sole traveler for work.

Our bed wasn’t very comfortable or pillows but others we stayed with said theirs was fine, so just unlucky for us. We stayed for a wedding and service was fantastic. Good food and drinks x

Nice local gem!

First time at this hotel and although it was out of town there was a bus stop right outside of hotel which went into Bury. Breakfast was in restaurant area and it was a good full English.It would have been good to have a fan or air conditioning in the room as it was very warm but otherwise room was very comfortable. More storage for clothes would have been nice or more hangers available. Bar area very nice but drinks a little expensive.

Nice with friendly staff but rooms disappointing

Very helpful and professional reception and restaurant staff. Room was disappointing as heating did not work so had a blow heater in the room, shower leaked and radiator and door in bathroom quite dirty grime.
