What appears to be a small local country pub, very cute though actually reveals a sweet dining area and accommodation is clean and bright. Excellent stay and very welcoming staff

Lovely welcome and great room

Warm welcome and friendly hosts. Lovely clean and well equipped room with a very spacious en-suite. Delicious breakfast, very generous portions and well presented. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Confort and calm

Good for a quick break

We booked an night at short notice. The room was spacious and clean, and as the inn is in a quiet location, we had a good nights sleep. We ate in the bar when we arrived, and the food was good and reasonably price.

Quick one night stop over.

Room was very comfortable and clean. Décor is minimalistic (no wardrobe, just hangers on the wall) but that suits the property and I thought was a good touch. The pub is cosy and the hosts are very friendly (as are their two lovely dogs). I would definitely stay here again when in the area. Very good value for money.

Friendly local pub

Very nice rooms in a nice pub. Food was good and reasonably priced, good beer as well. The tap water in the room did taste a bit off however.

Family run, nice bedrooms and breakfast, Bar old fashioned, enjoyed sitting in the Garden sampling the food and Gin. Very busy so struggled a little with service but wasn't an issue!

Brian's stay

thoroughly enjoyed my stay room was spotlessly clean i was made very welcome and breakfast outstanding.The owners made me want to stay again when next in the area. It was very quiet so a good nights sleep enjoyed after a long drive.5 star treatment.

Fabulous

This was a lovely find. We had an amazing stay. We booked for tea & we weren't disappointed the food was lovely. the room was fresh & clean, the bed was so comfortable it was hard to get out of in the morning, there was an amazing shower. Breakfast was fantastic cereal, fruit juice full English all at no extra cost all included in the room rate. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. We had a lovely stay.
