There was a party in the room above us. I called the desk around 2am and nothing was done. There was music, bottles falling, lots of chatter and singing. I called the dest again at 5am! The lady said there is nothing she can do for me. This was an awful experience, will never be back here again.

The room wasn't cleaned properly. There were footprints on the coffee table and the tv remote control was filthy. Visible mold in the washrooms. A bit disappointing compared to previous visits.

The staff was helpful and kind. Front desk and check in went very well. The room was dirty and shower had hair in it along with a used toilet paper roll. Phone in room didn’t work and the jets in the hot tub were broken during the duration of my stay.

Stayed here August 2023 and I loved it. Very clean and well maintained. They also offered a free shuttle which I used in the evening to go out for dinner. Went back March 2024 and there was a noticeable difference in the cleanliness of the room and overall hotel. Microwave in the room was dirty, stained towel, dusty room and the TV had no satellite the 1st night there. They fixed the TV the 2nd night. They also no longer offered the shuttle. I won’t go back.

Check in was great. Room great. Pool problematic - dirty it needs to be vacuumed badly and the water was freezing cold it was more like a cold plunge. Whirlpool was also inder construction.

I was disappointed with the service upon arrival. The front desk lady was nice, although when I entered the hotel no one was at the front except a serving waitress whom did not look like she enjoyed her job. She did not say hi or smile. I arrived at 830pm and asked what time the bar and restaurant was open until and they said she was closing it right then. Your website said it was open until 12am. I ended up having your cookie for dinner, which I will say was delicious, but would have appreciated the restaurant staying open. There was hair in the shower and lots of dust bunnies in my room on the walls and roof.

Tv in my room wasnt working. Would turn on for a few minutes then the screen would become jumbled. Bathroom needed to be better cleaned. Hotel staff was very nice, hotel is in a good location.

We usually book hotels near UB when coming to town, as there is a cluster of hotels in area. This Doubletree a step above the others in Neibhborhood IMO. Only issue we had were noisy people up upstairs......think they were kids as there was a Hockey Tournament and it seemed like there were a lot of kids/parents at Hotel. Noise the guests, not the hotels fault. Clean, easy to get to, very comfortable room and beds.

the hockey kids were annoying and the bathroom really needs to be cleaned. i wouldn't shower there. the floors were also dirty in our room and the bathroom.

We stay here every year for thanksgiving and we love it. The pool and hot tub are always warm and clean. The staff is always friendly. Food is good but could be fresher but still the staff is super friendly. Loved the bartender and host this morning for bfast. Clean rooms, close to everything we need. Thank you!!

Our welcome was great but the bedding had stains and I asked for it to be changed and all they did was remake the bed … in the end I asked for bedding and I changed and made the bed also they put us in a room that had water leaking from the ceiling by our door in the hallway
