"New condition and great decoration style. I was not satisfied with the cleaning, when we entered the suite we inmediately notice dirty floors & counter tops of kitchen with stains plus humidity smell of towels in spite of having a dryer inside the suite which apparently the cleaning personnel does not use! "

"This was a wonderful first stop on our vacation as is it was midway betweeen San Jose and La Fortuna. We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. It was a highlight of our trip!"

"Great little house only minutes from waterfalls, the little village with lots of local dining options. Host gave great communication for checking in and recommendations for places to eat and waterfalls to visiting. "

"I like this place because it was so close to the airport and not real expensive. We only stayed one night so we could catch our plane early in the morning. At first I wasn’t sure how safe the area was when we first pulled up but once we stayed for a little while and watched the people walking around the streets we realized it was very safe. Perfect for what we needed "

"Villa San Ignacio is a beautiful hotel creatively nestled in nature, but close to the hustle and bustle. The staff was very friendly and helpful with my late arrival. My room was clean with great little touches for a comfortable and productive stay. A small desk for working, floorspace for yoga by the bed, beautiful natural light, and a very comfortable bed. I enjoyed my breakfast, then a walk through the jungle trails on the property, and a quick dip in the pool. Highly recommend this unique stay!"

"We were able to check in early, that was very appreciated because we left before 6 AM so we were able to go do things around SJ versus waiting around for our room. Very easy to book a room and to get transportation to the airport early. Thank you staff! "

"Very happy with this hotel. Better than others we’ve used in the area. Updated, clean, nice amenities in the lobby. Didn’t use the restaurant or bar but looked really nice. Used airport shuttle. On time and quick to the airport. We stay near the airport when we have an early flight out of San Jose."
