Fantastic Location!

Great hotel and friendly staff. Wonderful location near subway, markets and restaurants. Many of the most important sights are walkable. Good breakfast and helpful service! Would stay there again in a second!

This is a great hotel in the heart of the center of Buenos Aires. I felt like I was in Times Square when I arrived, as this particular part of Avenue Corrientes is bustling with theaters, bright lights, and lines of people waiting to get world-famous pizza at Güerrín next door. I was not bothered by the noise, and the central location is incredibly convenient. The hotel is clean and safe, but some aspects of the room are a bit shabby (older bathroom facilities, some issues flushing toilets, etc.) That being said, this is a very good hotel for the value.

Close to city center

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at ibis Obelisco. We arrived around 1 in the afternoon. We asked to store our luggage until check in, but the front desk staff checked and saw that our room was ready and allowed us to check in early. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Close to many restaurants, shops and attractions.

Fair stay

Not as impressed as others, it seems. No coffee facilities in room, and no English language TV.Outside of breakfast hours, coffee had to be paid for. Room was good, with air con, and quiet considering the outside street scene. Proximity to the centre of the city is a big plus.
