Our stay at Apassionata was amazing. Fabian is incredibly attentive and kind and made us feel very welcome. He was always unavailable for questions and concerns and was quick to resolve any problems. Initially we had some issues with the heating in our room and when it couldn't be fixed, we were quickly moved to a much better room. The small size of the hotel allowed so that we got to know the other guests that were staying there. Overall our stay at Apassionata was fabulous.

Disliked: Staff & service
They never opened the door for check-in.
It looked like a house, not a hotel.
We knocked and knocked. Somebody spoke from the inside, we told them we had a reservation, but the guy ignored us and never opened the door.
We came to check in at midnight.
Vielen Dank, gerne wieder!
Absolutely amazing place to stay! Such a lovely hotel and lovely staff. Ideal location close to all the main attractions and streets without being in a noisy area. Every room is different and decorated to perfection.
We had 3 days in Buenos Aires and Fabian made it so much easier for us to get around! Had great suggestions on where to eat and what to see.
Thanks so much

Quarto com baratas;
Banheiro com mofo no chão;
Durante a noite se houve muito barulho, principalmente aos fins de semana;
Edredom extra mofado;
Quarto de tamanho bom para casal;
Itens de cozinhas razoáveis;
It is a homey place to stay. The proprietors go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and your needs are met. The accommodation was not luxurious by any means, but it was clean, in a safe area, and had a friendly, caring atmosphere. I disliked my first room, because it was at the top of the building, and I found the upper metal staircase to be scary - there's no elevator. I expressed my concern soon after checking in, and my room was switched to a lower floor immediately. The room wasn't spacious, but it was enough room for me. Sizes of rooms vary, so make sure to ask questions and choose carefully when booking here. Beware that the beds are located in lofts in the marble staircase floors. Breakfast was good, and included a nice variety of choices. The location is convenient and safe. There are numerous restaurants, shops and grocery stores, plus subway access nearby. I'd stay here again. The owner was out of town, but if you're looking for tango lessons, this hotel has a beautiful ballroom where you can have lessons from the owner, or possibly someone else, right on the premises.
This is a Tango hotel, so expect dancing and dance classes to be taking place. Sebastian is a superb host. The place is more akin to a home than a hotel. It has an excellent atmosphere. You're left alone if you wish to be but help is always on hand if you want it. There's road noise from early in the morning if you at the front of the hotel as it's sited next to a busy intersection. There's also a lot of stairs to climb inside of the building, which may not suit some but it was fine for me. It's quirky but nice and very welcoming. It's an old style house in a very good area and close to plenty of good bars and restaurants. The Wi-Fi is fine. Nothing was too much trouble for Sebastian and the staff. He speaks fluent English, Spanish and German
This is a small boutique style hotel. Fabian is a very good host. He also instructs tango dancing in the ground floor studio. The rooms that I saw appear to setup for couples, and the open air lower courtyard is a fantastic feature for breakfast and meeting other guests. The hotel only has steps. Location is excellent. Like all streets in cities is busy during working hours, but quite from late to early morning. If street noise is a problem for you, than request a back room. Fabian will also organise tango dancing events and drivers to take you to the airport if you ask him. I would stay here again when next in town. Has good Wifi. No TV, but you don't need one when staying in this type of hotel. If you want to watch soccer the café on the corner near the hotel has Foxtel. Order a beer and watch the soccer and engage in the local community around you.
