Good room
Good cheap hotel. People very welcoming. Don’t stay in the single room as it is right next to 24 hour reception and front door, which shuts noisily.
The hostel itself is set up really cool and pretty much exactly what you would expect. I will say it offered less in ways of connecting with people compared to other hostels I have stayed at and much less than others in the city. However, it was only a 10 minute walk from one of the major train lines and the area is absolutely beautiful with landmarks, and I felt incredibly safe the entire time while traveling alone. Limited dining around but for the price, you can't really beat it.
This is probably the nicest hostel I have ever stayed in! There was an outdoor seating area for you to enjoy the summer evenings and several kitchen/dining areas all of which were available for use by everyone regardless of where in the hostel you were. The place had an Alice in Wonderland feel with several doors to different sections being disguised as wall mirrors which is a touch I personally enjoyed. The hostel itself is not very centrally located however there is a metro station less than a 10 minute walk from the hostel which will have you in the centre in less than 10 minutes! My only complaint about the room is there were no mirrors physically in the twin room we stayed in so drying and styling hair etc was a bit of a challenge.
Overall, a budget friendly place to stay for a sightseeing trip!
Nagyon- nagyon kedvesen fogadtak minket. Volt lehetőség a bőröndjeink elhelyesésére is poggyászmegőrzés-szerűen, amíg a Városligetben programunk volt.
Csendes volt a környezet, egyedi a design. A kutyusunk is jól érezte magát.
Köszönjük!
We had a lovely stay at the Baroque hostel. Staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
The city is beautiful, lovely architecture and history throughout the city.
On recommande!
This property is very unique and it feels somewhat like a house. It attracts interesting people. That being said, I could hear voices right outside my room, even snoring from the room next to me. The bed was somewhat hard and the pillow somewhat flat. However, the price was great. There were pros and cons of staying here.
Super cute and quirky. So much character. Bed was super comfortable. Staff were wonderful. 4 min walk to Hero’s Square to catch the Hop on Hop off and the underground and about a 7 min walk to the Széchenyi Spa. About a 2 min walk to the bus
Highly recommend it. We’ve been to all 7 continents and this is in our top 10 places to stay
We lucked out and basically had the run of the place we stayed at, it was away from the main part of the hostel. Spacious room, and very clean.

Noisy
The check in is ok.
Location also.
But the place is dirty and noisy.
I was expecting that hosts will calm down guys from living room but no such thing happend.
Very very poor soundproof walls.
The room was adjacent to the kitchen which, sometimes, was a bit noisy. Great kitchen area and living room. One of the employees was a little grumpy, another one, however, was really helpful. He booked an airport shuttle for me and recommended some place to get the typical chimney cake. Overall nice experience and hostel with a close proximity to among others the Szechenyi baths.
