「Lovely stay, very friendly staff, beautiful rooms, excellent service throughout 」

「The Grand Hotel in Torquay has an excellent position when travelling without a car. The hotel is a minute away from Torquay station on one side, four minutes at the back (which means disability access to both train platforms). The beach is right across the road. The bus stops are in front of the hotel, going to the port and central town. My room was much more spacious than I expected, with a sea view, very comfortable, twin beds, tea, impeccable sheets and towels. Tea bags, hot chocolate and...

「Great stay. Wheelchair access good except for harbour entrance. The tank trap trench, filled with pebbles, in a corridor??? Just brilliant for catching your power chair. Had to get guests to help me out.」

「Lovely hotel and staff..close level walk to the seafront and theatre. Newly decorated room with comfortable bed... Tv could be better on opposite wall as it could be knockekd where its situated.. Parking can be reserved and booked for £10 which is worthwhile.」

「We stayed here for a wedding, beautiful property and the beds were comfy, a good nights sleep and we had kind receptionist. Our neighbours were noisy at 2/3am in the morning and there was a bit of dirt in the sink when we arrived but this did not affect our stay. 」

「The entertainment at night and the dsco are really amazing and also with the spa and gym are great.i just dont like the lift because it's too small and it took so long by waiting. But, some staff are nice and some are mean.but, i still enjoyed it more specifically the entertainment and the disco at night and the SPA & Gym. 」

「A great place to stay when you are in Devon. A very clean and welcoming place. A brilliant location for anyone to stay in Paignton only 2 minutes walk to the sea front and a 3 minute walk to the town centre all on the flat. The staff are friendly and very helpful the breakfast is very good. The room is clean and comfortable. And made up every day.」

「Absolutely fabulous place to stay - we had our hire car so it did not matter that it’s a bit away from towns - great size room and really great choice of meal options - restaurant and pub style both offered - really well equipped and could’ve stay a lot longer - very quiet and lovely view over the tidal estuary - east drive to Torquay, Dartmouth, Totness and extremely beautiful part of the world - loved it - this was a 2 night stay」
