We stayed in the Woodland cottages, which was right across from Mammoth Cave visitors Center parking lot - so the proximity was great - however trying to find parking on a weekend was hard. The cabin itself was exactly what you'd expect a cabin to be - no frill electronics, but did have a heater/ac...a mini fridge and coffee. I would stay again.
The woodland cottages were perfect for our stay. Everything was clean. There is no microwave or cooking gear of any kind in the cabin so be prepared for sandwiches, or there are grills less than a 5 min walk away. 10/10
Beautiful area. Quiet, peaceful. Lots of trails and activities. Staff was very kind and helpful. Stayed in historical cabin - run down, bed was uncomfortable, not very clean.
Although it’s an older facility, it was a nice stay… quiet, close to the restaurant and visitor center and cave tours. Food at the restaurant was good and very reasonably priced for a national park facility.
This was a fantastic stay! You have your own space, it’s walking distance to the tours, and it’s extremely peaceful. It had a full bathroom and fridge which was very convenient as well. We’d highly recommend this stay!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
You can't beat this for convenience since you're right in the center of the park and very near the visitor center and lodge restaurants. However, the condition of the cabin left a little to be desired, with peeling paint and questionable alignment of the door lock. It should also be noted that parking was a short walk away. But all things considered, we would stay here again.
Clean and comfortable stay. Do be aware there is no TV or internet. This is a good place to disconnect from media for a little while. The Lodge has good food options and shopping.
Although, we stayed in the older property, the bed was comfortable and we appreciated having a small refrigerator and a coffee maker. The room was clean, but the bathroom needed some remodeling.

Liked: Property conditions & facilities
Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
The cabin was rustic. There were large holes in walls and around doors so cold air was constantly blowing in. We enjoyed the beds being in two separate rooms each with its own heat control and thermostat.
However, cabin had rodent droppings and roaches. We didnt hear or see mice, but the cabin had only been surface cleaned, not swept or dusted in a long time. The Japanese beetles were also everywhere.
