The facility is excellent. However couple of things to address. The mattress itself was stiff that I had a hard time sleeping. Also the wifi was very weak that I had to use my mobile Hotspot.

We chose Rooms at the Pecan because of the reviews about cleanliness in the surrounding hotels. Clean is important to us. Room was very clean, dated but maintained, ac worked well. The location was perfect for our activities in the area. We knew it was a basic room with no mini fridge, microwave or coffee machine the issue we had was there was no tv access. Tv was in room but no clicker, went to desk was told the clicker was removed because tv doesn’t work. They apologized for the other employee who didn’t mention this fact at check in. Was told we could move to a room with a smaller bed and a working TV. The bed in our room already seemed smaller than the supposed Queen we reserved. Didn’t take advantage. The other issue at check in was they were adamant about paying in cash. Took three conversations of no I’m paying by credit card to get us registered. The only other concern was the entrance was very narrow and needed better lighting.Side note the Black Bear Diner is just down the road and the food was good, reasonably priced and the service 5star( had lunch and breakfast - both servers were excellent)

The owner is fabulous! Given the age of the facility, it is in remarkable condition and very clean. This is a no frill motel without a microwave or fridge, but incredibly comfortable and quiet.
