This was a cute place to stay! It is a little dated, but it adds to the charm. The room was clean and we were a short drive to several restaurants and shops. I would only like to recommend that they put a small coffee maker in the rooms and maybe update the heating system (it's a wall radiator)

The rooms were old and definitely need upgrading but they were exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable and it was peaceful. A coffee pot would be nice. For convenience there is an excellent restaurant and bar right next door. I would stay here again.

This was my first vivit to Brookings and it is a very nice town. The owner, who checked me in, was great and really made me feel welcome. I definitely liked the covered parking. That would come in very handy when it rains.

Parking was right at the door! Room was very clean. Towels were white, not dingy. Looked to be new towels. Staff have always been friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable although the metal frame creaked, (not all rooms have the metal frame bed). Would definitely stay here again.

Ever walk into a place and get the ICK? Check in was easy and there was a very cute cat in the office, but when we entered the hotel room we immediately began to look for other accomodations. It gave very creepy vibes all over. We left promptly to stay at the beachfront inn down the way. Take my advice and don't do it.

This motel is older, but it is well taken care of. It served our basic needs. As far as budget friendly, you pay about half of what you might pay at like bigger chains such as best western. Theres no frills, but the shower was hot and consistant , the bed was comfortable, it had covered parking, and right in front of your room. The heating was adequate, and the host/ owner was very nice and shared her knowledge of the town and beaches and local restaurants. You could tell she takes pride in ownership. I would definitely stay again if in the brookings area. And thankyou for keeping the prices low, so us budget friendly travelers can still aford to go and enjoy our beautiful trip.

The owner/manager stayed late, knowing that we were running late. The room was freezing, but, that was the weather. It was clean ,quaint and what we needed after the long 13 hour drive. After we got the heater turned up, we slept well and we showered and took off right away in the am. We would stay again. :)
