This Hotel hit all the spots for our small intimate family wedding for our daughter. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our rooms were perfect. The gardens were beautiful and well looked after a perfect setting for photographs. The food in the evening and at breakfast great and plenty of choice. A big thank you to all the staff.

Lovely stay, staff were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good - we just had the continental. Only downside was our room was above the outdoor patio and we stayed during a heatwave and a wedding so guests were drinking and very noisy right below our bedroom window - this would put me off staying again- in the new forest you look for quietness and meant we had an awful nights sleep.

Amazing hotel, and extremely dog friendly. The staff were lovely and very helpful, the rooms were comfortable, warm and clean and the bathroom was amazing and a great place to relax after a day of walking.

Great place, lovely people

We couldn't fault the service, nothing was too much trouble. We had supper in the pub and the food was delicious, so much so that we couldn't manage a full breakfast the next day which was a pity. We will certainly be staying at the Montagu Arms again. The location was perfect

Excellent helpful staff. Very attentive and caring. Had a really lovely vegetarian meal. One of the best i have had (I am not a vegetarian). A really lovely garden to wander round or sit. Dog friendly. We will go back.

We've just come back from a lovely bank holiday stay. The rooms were clean and airy with everything you could need. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great pressure. The staff were very friendly. Our dog was very much welcomed and looked after too.

Everyone on the staff is excellent, and the food delicious. We have stayed before and will again. The gardens are a treat, so well looked after, and the gardener is such an asset, we had good conversations with him about his work, and his ethos for the garden, many ideas to take home.
