「Lovely property, beautiful location. Very comfortable bed, good parking and ev charging available. Room was quite hot (fan supplied but only a small window) and bathroom layout a bit awkward. Ensuring meals and drinks were correctly added to rooms was a bit disorganised - could do with a signing policy. Breakfast also a little chaotic, though a good choice.」

「This is a 15th Century building with the stable block converted into accommodation. The room we occupied was very large with all the usual amenities, pristine clean with a huge comfortable bed. The breakfast menu was comprehensive as was the dinner menu. My only suggestion is that a help yourself coffee and tea facility would enhance its facilities.Excellent hotel at the price.」

「Never stay here in the summer! A lovely hotel with a great spa but sadly the staff were not interested. Our room (6) was boiling hot, far hotter than 2 other hotel rooms we have slept in over this May 26 heatwave. When we raised this at check in and explained that we would not be able to sleep in the room we were given a spare fan that simply moved the hot are around. The whole upper corridor of the hotel is oppressive and our room was swealtering all night. No one checked on us or offered to...

「The property was a great location close to the harbour and forest. Set near a river the evenings were perfect sitting out having a drink. The rooms are located away from the restaurant/pub so it is good when she wants to go to bed. Had a really nice day. We will definitely come back.」

We stayed in Room 32, which was perfectly cosy with a very comfortable bed and offered lovely views. The breakfast was great—high quality and plenty of choice.
