False Creek runs from English Bay up to the Science Center. There's now a walking and bike path that runs completely around False Creek - from English Bay, past Yaletown, around the Science Center, and up to Granville Island and beyond.

False Creek used to be Vancouver's industrial inner harbour. One-hundred years later, it has been retrofit and renovated and gentrified. Some of the architecture preserves that history. What remains now is a peaceful places where sky and sea meet. Ringed with places for coffee, places to sit and look at the sea and sky change as big and small boats move in and out of the inner harbour.

"The room was lovely….like an osassis in this weird hotel. They Renovated the key parts and had a very comfy room, but the air vents need cleaning. The hotel: is nothing like the photos protray. I thisnplace for the GYM and it turned out to be a tiny room that is the wam up room for the tenis school attached to this hotel. I rented a suite for 11 days… so that was key for us, and not only was it small, but the hang-out for teen tenists which madenit very incomfortable. There is NO SENSIBLE elevator to service the suite wing… and they gave us second floor. No luggage cart on site… this made it terrible my knees, as we had to carrybour. Usiness lugage in and out with ko wheels and climbing stairs every day! In this particular wing of the hotel one had the feeling of being in THE SHINING… 6”s-70s look, loooOOooooong OLD corridors //. If you have light luggage and rent a suite, like to walk and walk and walk as your only excersice (dont require gym) or elevator or expect nice common areas, the suite room is for you. THE ROOM… if you have a good sense of humor you can laugh at being at the Sining Hotel…. If not, go somewhere else. The FAKE adverts, especially the GYM, are upsetting. Front desk staff is nervous and clumsy or rude-ish. The “starbuks” is a Fake… you see the cups of Hot water waiting for a tad of coffee from the machine…. Total insult. It was 50-50 "

"We were cold during the night. The blankets are thin and the heating was not turned on due to standing right next to my side of the bed. It was being loud and not very clean as it opened its wings, I could see inside. I did not want the air be blown right into my face like that so I put on 4 layers and slept like a rock. The mattress was king and very comfortable. The inner courtyard is very quiet with beautiful plantation of banana and palm trees. The fake grass walkways are super quiet on the outside corridors so you can`t hear the coming and goings on the floors. "
