Cosy, clean room

We stayed for one night before a wedding and the room was cosy and spotless! Bed was super comfy and the staff were kind enough to give us bacon baps after service closed so we could have them for our breakfast as we had to leave super early and miss out! Really lovely place. We will be back to try the food!

The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for you. The food was fantastic and the open fire sumptuous. The room was lovely and the bed was so comfy. Dogs were welcome in all areas and he had a great time. Thanks for the great experience.

A fantastic little jem.

We stayed to visit friends nearby and found our room clean, bright, airy and very comfortable. The included breakfast in the morning was a delight with plenty of options. Customer service was spot-on too, I mistakenly left an item of property in my room which was posted on to me which was greatly appreciated. Without hesitation we would stay there again.

Great Stay

We were attending a funeral in Wells at 2 pm, we'd travelled for 5 hours and thley kindly arranged the room to be ready at 12.30 so we could change. The room was lovely and clean,there were complementary drinks besides tea and coffee. Only a small choice for breakfat, which was fine with us, even offered a plant option. We ate in their restaurant one evening and again was lovely. The manager and staff were all helpful. We only stayed for a couple of nights, but we would definitely stay again.

8am for breakfast.

My only grumble is breakfast dose not start until 8 this is to late. This is becoming a bit of a thing since Covid not just this Hotel. Charge for breakfast in the room price and then it starts when you have to be at work. Have a separate charge that can be added on arrival.

The property was ideally situated for touring the area and the perfect place to relax and enjoy a lovely meal after a day out and about. The manager was very helpful with information on places to go and things to see and do.
