Hotel is nicely decorated and rooms have comfortable beds with nice modern bedrooms. I found the location to be great, convenient for all parts of Bristol. Second time I have stayed there … highly recommend.

The location is great. However the room didn't really make you feel 4 star luxury. There's a shower curtain rather than a screen, the ceiling paint is peeling off in the bathroom - probably due to there not being a working extractor fan and they hadn't bothered to nove the furniture out when they painted the walls leaving the old colour where the brushes couldn't reach. Overall it feels like a hotel doing the bare minimum it can. Ok for an overnight stay but not recommended for a treat or if you're staying in the city longer

Had a lovely stay, hotel was in perfect location and the on-site parking was an added bonus (you have to pay extra but worth it) everything you need is either walkable or Uber's arrived in minutes. The room door card was a bit temperamental and didn't work first time EVER, and I did have to get it sorted in reception once as it completely gave up, a fridge would have been handy but not a game changer. Overall a lovely visit and will definitely stay here again if we come back to Bristol.

Could be a lovely hotel, but our room had no working air con and as a result was difficult to sleep in. Reported issue but staff were not supportive and actually despite complaining several times, the member of staff we initially complained to denied later he knew of the issue. All weekend lift had an error and said was in evac mode or maintenance mode and kept saying it was on floors that did not exist. I’m sure it was probably safe, but a note from management saying they were aware of the issue and were waiting for engineers to reset it wouldn’t have hurt and would have been re-assuring. But, other than reception staff, the staff in the restaurant and bar were lovely. As say could be/should be a lovely hotel, just needs better maintenance and both our original room, which did get changed for 2nd night, and first room were tired, and needed a bit of tlc.

We liked that it was close to everything and the parking was also convenient. However, we were incredibly disappointed with the room(412). It wasn't clean (hairs in the bath, dirt on floor, stains on walls for example), the carpet was stained, the door handle to the toilet was broken and the shower fixture was wobbly. There was also a trolly of dirty towels left outside the lift which was still there hours after we arrived as well as an empty bottle of vodka down the stairwell. It was clear that there had been an attempt to update the room but it was far from the expectation we had from looking at the photos. Gaps around fixtures, rips in hotel guides/adverts showed a lack of attention to detail, the mirror in the bathroom looked to be deteriorating towards the bottom, and the bed was easily the most uncomfortable mattress we have ever had the misfortune to sleep on - could feel the springs and offered no support. We both slept very badly on top of the fact that the walls are made of paper and could hear the man next door on the phone as well as everyone passing the door along the heavily creaking floor. We appreciate that there is noise at a hotel but this was another level. We also messaged the front desk and asked for toothpaste - this took almost an hour to be delivered with no further updates from staff. It was supposed to be a trip to celebrate our anniversary, we paid almost £200 for one night. Sadly, the hotel, and particularly the room, completely missed the mark.

Conveniently located, comfortable hotel, room on third floor was clean and adequate, with kettle but no fridge or landline phone. Bed was comfortable. Would suggest providing instructions or guide to operating / adjusting aircon thermostat would be helpful. Staff were pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was not included. Would stay here again for overall convenience and adequate facilities.

Staff very friendly hotel nice, carpark a nightmare to find, enjoyed ourselves and would stay again. Just a shame about the scumbags staying on the same floor screaming shouting and generally being scum and not guving a fig about anyone else from 12.15 am to 2.30am. luckily they didnt stay a second night. They must of crawelled back into the hole they crawelled out of.

The staff was very responsive to our requests for assistance. They put us in a room that was directly over a mixed martial art kickboxing exhibition that was very loud. We were very uncomfortable from the pounding of very loud music. We asked them to put us in another room, which they did. The rooms were comfortable but in various phases of renovation. No hooks to hang up towels. Non functional towel bars. No exhaust fan in the bathrooms. Non functional lift in the adjacent parking building.

It was rather noisy at night but to be expected in the centre of Bristol at the weekend. Room was very comfortable and clean and bathroom was spotless. Good breakfast. Easily walkable from Bristol Temple Meads.
