Location was great. Would make sure apartment was ocean front facing 100% otherwise you are looking into other apartments.

Great location

Great location and excellent spot to watch the migrating whales. Also saw kangaroos. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. No noise from any other apartments. Locating apartment 8 however did take some time as we entered from the street level and not through the carpark and number 8 was not listed on the outside of the apartment block. There are a few cafes within a few minutes walk from the apartment. Most are open until 8pm except on a Sunday night. The bus stop - Gorge Point is also near the shops. Also only a few minutes walk to the North and South Gorge walk. Easy access to Main Beach. Although for swimming Cylinder Beach is much better.

Time and space to breathe

Kangaroos on the grass beneath our balcony, kookaburras on the balcony . We did not feed them. Airy and bright. Straddie is fantastic. The wildlife is just there to watch.

Below par

The location was good, quiet and within walking distance to the shops and beaches and the gorge walk. The cleanliness however, was below par. Everything felt sticky and dirty and it was extremely outdated. The cutlery needs replacing. The unit had a funny smell. The tiles on the balcony were chipped and moldy. The unit could do with a much needed renovation. Would probably not stay there again.

Great long weekend stay

We stayed in a 3 bed apartment with ocean views. Very spacious and great for a long weekend away. Easy to get to on bus from ferry.

Amazing

Amazing location. We could see the dolphins from the balcony even though we were on ground level. We had kangaroos on the front lawn almost touchable. An amazing place for people who love wildlife.

Beautiful apartment, they gave us early check in on Friday at 10am and late check out on Sunday at no cost. We will most definitely be back soon.

Home away from home even much better

The whole family loved the place. The room was very spacious and clean. The pool made our stay even more enjoyable. The water was warm even if the weather was cold it didn't stop them to swim even I plunge into d water. We will definitely stay here again d next time we come back to Straddie 😊

BED DISAPPOINTING

My husband and I suffer from back conditions and we found the old mattress and base crippling. Thankfully our stay was short. Resort getting dated now so beds are very old despite their nice external appearance. I felt we paid top dollar and there wasnt even a box of tissues or a face cloth in the unit.

Lovely spot with plenty of wildlife right at your front door. Great spot to do the gorge track and beach plus easy walk to bakery, cafe and gelati shop.

Receptionist was on the phone when we arrived and stayed on the phone for at least 10 minutes without even acknowledging that we had arrived. A simple "I'll be with you as soon as I can" would have sufficed. Bad manners and a poor introduction to the place. Apart from that a nice place to stay.

Good place to recharge your batteries

Room was very clean although a little shabby eg bathroom taps and shower. Unfortunately they are redoing some of the apartments and the noise during the weekday was not pleasant. Pool was well kept and clean although they advertise it is kept at 27 degrees all year round I don't think it was that warm.The kitchen was very well stocked with all the equipment you would need. Overall a pleasant stay though.

Fabulous!

Wonderful apartment with great kitchen, lots of space, amazing view. My only criticism would be my bed was a bit hard. Everything else was awesome, 5 stars!! I’ll definitely be back
