No doubt this was once a grand hotel but it has aged terribly. Old carpets, sweat stained headboards, mould in the bathroom and a receptionist who should look at getting a job where you don’t have to greet people. The location is amazing and the view is spectacular but there is something icky about this place.

The hotel was centrally located and great for walking to nearby shops and sights. There were restaurants right outside the door. The most difficult part was choosing which one we wanted to try. It was also very close to the airport, which is one of the main reasons we chose to stay there. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Beautiful location and elegant lobby. Rooms have old fashioned Italian style interior, and make your stay a time to remember. Pitty that the absolute stunning Lobby bar was full-time closed.

Great location. Parking is not really an issue you can find in the street short walk. BUT hotel should advise at reservation time you have to drive through a Limites Zone (not an issue but be aware). The shower... why is the shower such a difficult concept in Italy? Shower is ample, you can fully stretch your arms lenghtwise, But the shower head with many funtions is in the center pointing to the door where the space is minimum. You cannot move but a lot of empty space on each side. I dont get it
