Loved the quirkiness and bedding was extremely clean. Lovely bathroom but tap was disgusting in the hand basin and no plug available. Chrome in shower tray all broken. All the staff were excellent. Buffet cold breakfast was quite acceptable. All very basic but excellent value so close to seafront. Would stay again despite comments above.

The room was clean and grateful that there was no tv in the room. The staff were friendly and polite. The buffet breakfast was value for money and set us up for the day. The hotel is located at the opposite end of the pier and not many buses run by it, it’s approximately a 20minute walk to the pier, although if that’s not of interest, the beach is just across the road from the hotel. A great stay and would recommend this hotel.

Room was lovely and big with a good view of the sea front. We stayed there in some really hot periods of UK weather as well and it was kept cool. Had everything we wanted. We didn't have breakfast there but looked like it was well stocked. We 100% stay again.

No hot water - staff couldn't help except for saying run the tap for at least 15mins - did this still stone cold. Lift was so slow...also under repair so could only take two people. Noisy with trucks unloading at 6am On the plus side the room was clean and the bed comfy...didn't hang around for breakfast.....

Staff very helpful and friendly at check in and check out. The room was not in the best condition. Dusty lamps, dust under beds, sides dirty and windows didn't shut properly. The paint work in the room was awful, touched up with paint that didn't match. Mattress was horrible, very hard and the pillow in need of replacing. Bathroom was ok. For the price, it was alot of money for a mediocre room
