It was good overall

Beautiful area. Convenient to the event. Nice little welcome kit. Comfortable bed. Hot shower. Clean towels. Allowed pets. Unfortunately it’s been sold. Not sure if it will continue as a hotel. Not thrilled that they chose Saturday morning for the riding lawnmower guy to pass multiple times by my room. And the sound of that & the weed eater ruined the ambiance of the quiet country. Checkout is 12 noon. Maybe wait until then to do lawn work. Also sharing why I’m in Hempstead with other guests is just not a cool thing to do either. I love small town but privacy for me is important.

It’s a great out of the way place to stay. Very quiet. The room was awesome and we will stay there again. The owner Dan was very nice.

Great hideaway!

Very quiet rooms and very clean. My room only had a issue with getting hot water at my bathroom sink. Took it a while but finally got it. Highly look forward to future stays here.

Cute Country Inn

Quaint little country Inn off the beaten path and surrounded by pastures. Very quiet and comfortable, and the staff was great. Not your fancy big chain motel, so don't expect luxury suites, but if you are looking for a quiet get away that is off the beaten path, with a comfortable room, this is the place.

If you are looking for a nice, quite place to stay out in the country, this would be your place. Room was clean, bed was comfy, and the family owned service was sweet and friendly!

Glad We Stayed Here!

Don't let the 2 stars fool you. This little family-run hotel has the most beautiful, picturesque setting, and the manager, Dan, was so helpful and accommodating. Full kitchen (minus the oven), dining table, couch, two queen beds, and roomy bathroom with full tub was perfect for two adults and three kids. The pullout couch-bed was workable but not fantastic, and the manager immediately brought us a very comfortable rollaway when I mentioned it. We felt well taken care of but never intruded on. The place is at the edge of town so it's the perfect mix of country view with nearby amenities. We will absolutely be staying there again.

A Great Place to sit back in the swing and RELAX!

We arrived late and were greeted by the owner. He was friendly and our needs were taken care of.

Peace & Quiet

This hotel is in a quiet, secluded country-like area. It's a bit dated & worn, but the owners are friendly and quick to help with whatever you might need. The rooms were clean, and even with the kitchenettes (which had plenty of pans, cooking utensils, and dishes, btw), the rooms DID NOT smell, nor were they heavily perfumed to cover up odors. It was very pleasant!! (Which is not my usual experience with hotels with kitchens). No hot breakfast available, but we cooked our own in our room. The packaged breakfast items are well-stocked, and their k-cup coffee selections were yummy! They need to rework their cable/tv hook up because you can't change channels with the remote. Otherwise a very nice stay.

Nice, quiet, cozy place out in the country. Had a great time sitting out on the deck and watching the sunset. There was a firepit available where we were able to cook hamburgers, hot dogs and sausage for our evening meal. Once the sun went down we were able to see so many stars being away from the bright lights of town.

Adequate for needs.

Adequate for our needs. Check in was fine. Couple in charge was very kind and accommodating. Low water pressure and very thin blankets. Breakfast was less than expected. Nice country atmosphere.
