This was exactly what we were hoping for in this stay. The rooms were lovely and clean and the bathrooms were modern and fully stocked. The inn itself was charming, the staff so accommodating and the food (both dinner and breakfast) were delicious.

Crown and Mitre Hotel

Swallow Cottage
Swallow Cottage is in a great location for exploring Cumbria and Northumberland. We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and very clean cottage. The owner was fabulous when we had a small issue and responded straight away. We'd definitely stay here again
