Idyllisch und abseits gelegen strahlt die Umgebung totale Ruhe aus. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Burg Bourscheid in unmittelbarer Nähe, nach Diekirch oder Ettelbruck 20 min mit dem Auto, von einem der beiden Bahnhöfe kostenlos mit der Bahn in 30 min in Luxembourg ... perfekt! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Restaurant wirklich empfehlenswert, ob à la carte oder HP. Die Balkone sind winzig, aber die Terrasse bzw. die Liegemöglichkeiten am Ufer der Sauer entschädigen dafür ...

Goed hotel, maar wel verbeterpunten badkamer
Het hotel is zeer mooi ingericht, de badkamer was wel gedateerd en de aansluiting onderaan ontbrak en geen actieve afzuiging waardoor de spiegel beslagen bleef. Het ontbijt was goed, maar de koffiemachine bleef maar problemen geven en gaf geen goede cappuccino maar meer water.

Een uitstekend hotel voor cocooning. Wij hadden een cottage en dat is zeker aan te bevelen. De kamer is zeer ruim en de badkamer overdadig qua faciliteiten. De koffie op de kamer is helaas wat minder verzorgd (alleen decaf, om gewone koffie moet je telkens vragen) en het eten is vooral volumineus. Maar het personeel is heel vriendelijk en de kwaliteit van dit hotel is echt goed. Waarschijnlijk scoren ze hoog genoeg voor een herhaalbezoek!

Hele mooie omgeving. Hotel is netjes, ontbijt is goed. Medewerkers vriendelijk, alleen wat weinig waardoor je 's avonds erg lang op je drankje moet wachten. Kamer is schoon als je aankomt, maar tijdens je verblijf niet erg uitgebreid, spulletjes die je gebruikt hebt worden ook niet meer aangevuld. Avondeten is erg duur en niet zoveel keus.

Weekend Away
We stayed in one of the cottages which was modern, clean, and well appointed. The cottage could accommodate 4 people, as there was a double bed in a separate bedroom. The bathroom was modern, and the room came with a spa bath. TV and minibar were included. The staff were friendly, but during our visit were working very hard and appeared short staffed. Breakfast was just ok, again not helped by the number of visitors the weekend we were there. Location is perfect if you want to relax and take easy.

Great and green alternative to staying in the city
Very nice and picturesque hotel right on the banks of the river Suure. Excellent hospitality and a great and much cheaper alternative to hotels in Luxembourg city (only about half an hour). Bathroom was very large and clean but a bit outdated to my liking.

Room with a view.
The Hotel is in a nice surroundings and hotel looks nice with good rooms. I'm sure in summer this hotel will be a top location, we were in winter time what was nice and relaxing. The Food in restaurant was very nice however the service in the restaurant was somehow not as friendly as expected. Breakfast was also very good. Parking lot could improve so as the excess road to the hotel.

Gewoon doen!
Fijn hotel in een mooie omgeving. Ondanks dat wij de goedkoopste kamer hadden was deze heel ruim, op de 1e etage met uitzicht op de tuin en goede grote bedden. Het ontbijt was lekker, met genoeg keus voor iedereen. Er stond zelfs champagne koud! De weg naar bel air is wel aan wat onderhoud toe met alle kuilen die we tegen kwamen maar dat was ook echt het enige minpuntje. Het hotel ligt in een mooi dal aan de rivier en vanuit hier zijn de rest van de dorpjes en bezienswaardigheden prima te bereiken. Luxemburg stad ligt op ongeveer 50 minuten rijden. Al met al 5 heerlijke dagen weg en een echte aanrader!

Scenic location. Rooms overlooked the river and the castle. Dinner, Bed and breakfast is good choice as there are no other restaurants in walking distance. The Jacuzzi bath was a bonus luxury!

Excelente hotel en un lugar muy tranquilo
Ubicado al final del camino, junto al río Sauer y al pie de un castillo medieval, el lugar es inmejorable. Staff muy atento, restaurante 5 estrellas, un desayuno fuera de serie, baño y habitación muy espaciosos, buen wifi. Excelente en todo sentido

Amazing hotel in nice place with great staff
Amazing place to relax and unwind after big city. Staff is very friendly and helpful, views are majestic and it has a lot of hiking paths around. I stopped there for only 1 night during trip through Europe, but I am actually considering visiting this place other time and spending couple a week or two there.

Zeer rustig gelegen.
Mooi, wat ouder hotel, rustig gelegen in het dal van de sûre. Nette, maar basic kamers. Waar is de 4e ster op gebaseerd?? Slechte toegangsweg (veel kuilen en gaten) en beroerde parkeervoorziening. Zeker bij slecht weer, één grote modderpoel en te weinig plaatsen.

Lovely location
We booked this hotel online a few days before we arrived. We wanted to be near Luxembourg but not right in the city. The booking.com ad said it was 6.9miles (10kms) from Luxembourg. In fact it's about 58kms from the city center, so quite a drive. But in the end we were pleased with the location, at the bottom of a deep gorge with a winding river very near the hotels and a majestic old castle bearing down from above (beautiful by day, warmly lit up by night). Our whole experience there was wonderful and highly recommended if you don't mind being so far from the city.
