Room and staff were really good. This hotel had a brilliant reception team who are so friendly and welcoming. The only thing that lets the hotel down was the food. We ordered hams eggs and chips and a tuna sandwich. Ham and tuna seems a but off tasting a little on the sour side the chips were soggy and undercooked. The service and foh more than made up for it

You can tell that this was a beautiful hotel in it's day. It really needs a fresh paint job and some upkeep. The elevator was out so we had to walk up several stairs to our room. The room was nice and looked like to had been updated a bit. The staff was very nice, especially the ladies in the bar area. They were very friendly & accommodating.

Large Hotel in need of some attention in the rooms and communal areas. Nice pool and rare to find Squash courts in a Hotel. Breakfast was average, pretty bland and not much choice if your a vegetarian.
