「The hotel was pretty nice, but the service was poor. When we asked the person at the desk to open the door to the pool, which we had to do every day because our keys wouldn't open it, she said she just wanted to go home. When we asked her for some tissues, because they never went into our room to do anything, she looked down quickly and said she didn't have any. Like the entire hotel tissue inventory is under her desk, ha! The breakfast selection was marginal at best, with some items not...

This property sits in an absolutely beautiful location with stunning views of the lake and the hills to the west. The sunsets are truly incredible, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The front yard has a lot of charm and potential, though the grass was noticeably overgrown during my stay.
The experience itself was unusual. I was greeted briefly by someone who handed me the key, but after that I didn’t see a single staff member, and there’s no real reception...

「The room I booked is a lake view room. The view of the room is very good and the room is big enough, BUT,,,,,
The blanket on the bed may NOT have been changed for a long time. The very bad smell made me unable to sleep all night. I strongly suggest that the management can quickly check every room, don't let this problem affect the reputation of the Hamptom Inn.」

The breakfasts were very tasty (and filling!), the property was beautiful, and there is access to several fun hikes and outdoor activities.
