Ideal location for walking around many areas- perfect for ferries to Alcatraz and Sausalito. Nice cafes nearby. Would definitely stay again! "

"Great location! Munibus picks up right outside on Lombard st. Short walk to bay, grocery store and restaurants. 20 minutes roughly by bus to the wharf. Property and room was clean. No complaints."

"Great older style hotel. The room was very homey and comfortable with a fireplace. Good breakfast and excellent staff. Nice wine and cheese in the afternoon. Excellent location near restaurants, Union Sq and the BART /Muni. Curtis gave great service at check-in and recommended very good restaurants. We will surely return on our next visit to SF."
