I’m unsure where to begin, but to preface, I have previous experience working in hotel management, and understand good days and bad days in the industry. I don’t like to make a fuss and I would like to give grace where I can. Upon first impressions everything looked nice and clean. The woman who checked us in was very pleasant. Though, the man who worked there overnight was rarely able to found, and was very unsettling and rude to myself and other guests.
The room though, looked as if it was not cleaned throughly enough after a long term stay..? I do have pictures of everything, but just to name a few.. high contact surfaces were dirty, spilt pitcher of lemonade in the fridge, very damaged furniture. Those were JUST off first glance.. to keep it short here, it got much worse after. Nothing I wasn’t able to avoid (90% of the kitchen) or clean on my own (new sheets, disinfectant). The housekeeper’s work is one thing.. but this getting checked and given an OK is what’s more upsetting to me, and even worse I was unable to get it situated that night due to the frost desk guy making me very uncomfortable. When I had asked for a trash bag, (there weren’t any in the cans in the room), he disregarded my reaching hand, and threw it at me.
