This neat and tidy motel located on the highway provides an ideal stopover for budget travellers. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and tidy and microwave was great to have.

We stayed here as a stop-over on a long driving trip and everything was fine- comfortable bed, nice hot shower, had a microwave to heat our dinner up. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was a little noisy being on the highway but we were too tired to care. The bed was lovely!

A homely oasis

The room was comfortable and very clean a wonderful soft armchair and free wifi that works. Being able to park the car covered right outside the room a real bonus.A lovely hot meal was available.The room was surprising quiet given that it is right next to the Bruce Highway. Fellow guests had been coming there for many years. Midway between Mackay and Coolangatta.

Great Place for an Overnight Stay!!!!

Booked online through the Hotels.com app. Check-in on arrival was super easy with a friendly greeting. Room had been renovated, was spacious and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Walking distance to the Bororen Hotel which do great pub food. The only thing I can critique is the noise of passing trucks late at night and early in the morning, but I am a light sleeper unfortunately. My husband didn't hear a thing haha

Look, I don't like leaving negative reviews. These folks are trying to run a business. And the room was clean and comfortable. However the pool was a murky green science experiment, not a welcome dip after a long day on the road. There were no instructions on how to get the two TV remotes to talk to one another. There was no hot water, which was a real pain. And there were no power points anywhere near the bedhead. This place was definitely not terrible, but at the price I wouldn't stay here again.

Manager very friendly and helpful. Needed his help to operate tv (no instructions for satellite channel). Had to leave on bathroom light all night as pitch black without any light... no good for persons over 70 years! (-Maybe, the addition of a low wattage bulb in bathroom would help).

I stayed one night here with my 2 cats when I moved to Brisbane from Cairns. Here was last accommodation for us. This accommodation is located along the high way and ideal for road trip. I recommend getting some food before you arrive.

Great place to stay if you're traveling north, as it's a nice day's driving distance from Brisbane to pull in for the night. Pet friendly, nice clean rooms, and comfortable beds after a long day in the car. Highly recommended!!
