Wonderful experience. First class for a reasonable cost. Staff was very accomodating to set up our room with 2 twin beds. It is decorated so beautifully in all the areas. Free parking area just outside the door on the second floor where the rooms are, and a cute coffee / shop on the first floor,

We had a wonderful stay at this family guesthouse and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better place. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The guesthouse was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the beds were great, and the whole place had a very welcoming and homey atmosphere. The hosts were extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and were always available whenever we needed anything. IWe would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming place to stay.

Comfortable, quiet place to stay for our first night in Iceland, and well located for getting a head start on the ring road and seeing the settlement museum.

My major concern was the bathroom. The owner rented out 5 family shared with one bathroom. I was waiting for bath for an hour. When I woke up the morning I saw 6 people waiting for a kitchen to use for breakfast. I was checked out if I wear outside shoes in the house all time. I know there is no competition in the small town in terms of Bnb. Seriously, we comes to the town to enjoy but not to suffer from amenities.

Alles wunderbar!

Everything is good, but it is difficult to find the place because it is a group of buildings, which is completely different from the pictures. I hope the hotel can put a picture to show where it is exactly.

This is setup as a guesthouse (think bed and breakfast in the USA). The hosts were warm. We stayed in the family room which was small but big enough for 2 kids and 2 adults with comfortable beds. The room view was great. There is a nice kitchen that is shared with free coffee/tea and a fridge too. They also have a coffee/café below the guesthouse. We didn’t try it because we were trying to save money by cooking ourselves (restaurants are quite pricey in Iceland).
