We had a wonderful stay at Royal Bora Bora and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the island. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore Bora Bora and enjoy everything the island has to offer. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a day of adventures. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available to help with recommendations, transportation, and organizing tours. Their hospitality really made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the best parts of our stay was renting bicycles directly from the hotel. It was a fantastic way to discover the island at our own pace, stopping at beautiful beaches and viewpoints along the way. Royal Bora Bora offers excellent value for money, combining a great location, comfortable rooms, outstanding service, and a relaxed tropical atmosphere. We had an amazing time and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next visit to Bora Bora!

Gute Unterkunft und auf jeden Fall preiswerter für Bora Bora als die Resorts draußen auf dem Riff. Die Lage ist gut, man erreicht Matira Beach zu Fuß und auch eine Autovermietung ist nah. Frühstück war okay aber nicht überragend. Eigene Liegen am Strand. Wir würden wieder hin fahren.

Nice hotel but it's a stretch to call it a 3 star hotel (hotel rating not Expedia rating) at least by USA standards. Reception and the restaurant are located on the beach while the rooms are across the road (the only road on the island). On the positive side is great, friendly, helpful staff, very nice beach, included decent breakfast and an above average, reasonably priced restaurant. The latter two are more important because there are very limited number of restaurants on the island especially within walking distance. On the less positive: they gave us 1 key card and started to question why we needed a second when I requested one, our room had 4 or 5 minor issues from torn towels to constantly running toilet, plus several more which they admittedly addressed as soon as we reported them. What's not fixable is a tiny, uncomfortable showers with the cheapest shower handle you could possibly find. There is also a somewhat limited availability of shade on the beach and lounge chairs, so if the hotel is full and you come later to the beach finding both could be a challenge.

You should mention that the hotel is across the street from where the beach is. The breakfast was horrible, bowls of Joghurt with flies, fruits were horribly cut, eggs were made out of powder?? Food at the snack bar was okay but not really tasty however the location is pretty and the Roomservice has always been good. They should’ve mentioned that the whole place is under construction (wedding location at the Beach & front desk)

We absolutely loved it!!! Nice rooms and more importantly staff was amazing! So inviting and nice! From the reception to activities planner. A separate shout out to Tania (restaurant) and her daughter, just amazing human being with the biggest heart. Always took care of us whatever we needed. Thank you guys, your favorite room 202 Blake and Ana haha!

The front lobby staff are very rude…especially if you speak English. They treat the people who speak French very nice and are very helpful but if you only speak English who will just get bad attitude and the roll of the eyes. I Will not stay here ever again…

This was my second stay at the Royal Bora Bora. It's an economical hotel that's perfect for me since I don't spend much time in my room and a luxury hotel wouldn't make much since for me. The rooms are clean, the food is good, and the staff is excellent. I could, definitely, see my self coming back for a third visit.

Excellent breakfast and restaurant is very good. Staff very nice, always smiling and helpful. Rooms are very clean but closets are stuffy. Service to customers could be improved by offering free kayaking and free use of bike. The pool and ping pong area needs to be cleaned and updated.

I love this low key hotel. I have been there 3 times and will be back. The front desk is so helpful, the ladys are so nice! It is on the main island so you don't need to pay extra to come off the atolls. It feels like old time tahiti, with shows a couple nights a week. It is great to have the free breakfest right on the ocean.

This is a nice hotel with wonderful staff and excellent breakfast. The location is good and there is really nothing to complain about. Breakfast was the best we had in French Polynesia (stayed a total of 5 weeks in multiple islands) with a great variety of fruits and other foods. Even if you are a vegetarian, which I am not, you will find enough good food at breakfast to fill your belly with. The staff was very helpful, particularly Marama, who went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me in getting documents printed for my work so that I could file them with the court by the deadline. He was also never too busy to answer a question or share information. We always found him to be very friendly and extremely helpful. He is really a gem!
