The breakfast was amazing and fresh. Staff were very nice. We had an issue with the a/c in our first room and they quickly moved us to another room. The only down side was the sewer smell near on the one side of the building. Other wise it was a GREAT stay. Beautiful and and a great area.

The check in was easy and the young man in the office was very helpful when the room he gave us was not suitable for us. He found us another room. You had to travel to eat. Breakfast was good. No elevator.

Great little inn right on the cove, 10 mins to Booth Bay Area harbor. Great view from balcony. Rooms are updated, nice size, and bed was really comfy with nice sheets. Wonderful full breakfast & free parking is always appreciated. Owners are super nice. Love it and will be back.

Bathroom screen caked with dust, sand in the 1970's tub and the deck is so noise when you walk on it it sounds like its going to fall apart

Location was very quaint and picturesque. Our room was very clean. We enjoyed having breakfast and dinners at the restaurant. The food was delicious and staff was very accommodating. The only complaint was the shower water temperature took too long to become warm. We would definitely return to Smugglers again.

Beautiful views, so quiet, beautiful ocean, everyone so nice. Breakfast left much to Be desired. So salty, the ham, bacon and home fries were extremely salty, I could not eat Them. The yogurt and fruit were very good as well as the crepe

Breakfast was a typical chain hotel breakfast and acceptable. Staff was very friendly. Very clean but a very basic $99/night motel not close to $200+.

Property has a great view and is partially renovated. But for people with mobility issues it is a nightmare. We stayed in a room supposedly on ground level at the Loft building. There was not room to park nearby and you had to walk on ground with rocks and a very rough and uneven old walkway to get to the room. We were not able to go to the breakfast because you had to go from that building across the grounds and up a couple of stepping stones that had no rails. Or you had to walk a very long distance around the restaurant parking lot The tub was very slippery and no tub mat was supplied We had to go ask for one. They really need to work on ADA compliance.

We loved this place. Great room we got the two beds we requested. Staff is wonderful. The restaurant is great with a wonderful woman running the show. And the breakfast was great too and free!

We had a delightful stay at Smuggler's Cove Inn. The family owners are lovely, friendly and very hardworking. Despite the first impression from the road, the buildings are very well maintained and beautifully situated to make the most of the property and view. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast is a feast! Dinner choices are varied with a bit of extra spice in some dishes...the gumbo was a treat! We wish the owners many more years of much success.

Beautiful location. Well appointed room, a bit on the small side. There was no iron or ironing board. Maybe a Maine thing as there wasn’t one in the Vrbo we stayed in as well?

Truly enjoyed our stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. There’s a lovely little dining room for breakfast and enjoyed live music Tues evening with the best dinner on our trip. The burrata squash salad with crostini along with the best tika masala we’ve ever had were definite highlights. The property felt very family friendly and we enjoyed seeing lots of dog owners out and about. It was nice to be away from the tourism downtown yet close enough to take advantage of it and the Maine Coast Botanical Gardens which is a must see.

Recently updated so rooms were nice & clean. Beautiful view &, pool was overlooking the water. They had kayaks available for use. Continental Breakfast was delicious and we were able to sit out on the deck looking out at the cove . They even grow fresh herbs next to the restaurant. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to relax this is it! Only downside was bathroom was small & they hadn’t remodeled the shower yet. Will definitely be back.

The property needs a serious face lift, it looks like little has been invested into the property for a while - the cost of staying at the property, is really both worth it and there appears to be a problem with the sewage, it stunk so badly around the accommodation.
