Stayed here with family for an event. Will stay here anytime I am back in Bonn. Great neighborhood with lots of dining and shopping options. The greek restaurant across the street is fantastic and it is wonderful to spent the evening in their back garden under the grapes. The nearby botanical garden is a place of peace and wonder and the walk to the university is leads you through Bonn’s most charming neighborhoods. If you don’t want to walk there is also a very frequent bus. Can’t say enough about just how gemütlich the hotel is. The common spaces and very generous - great to hang out in for some downtime or conversation, room feels safe and clean and little balcony is great. Staff was welcoming and herzlich.
So may inviting common spaces! This is the breakfast room/lounge. The lobby with terrace and the game room are also nice places to be.

Hot water was an issue for several days. We waited for a long time for hot water. Even when it was hot it was unsteady, at times turning cold. the breakfast was nice but the breakfast seating was eclectic and uncomfortable. The staff was nice and helpful but there was never housekeeping... we had the same (1) towel all week. The bed was okay... most of the pillows were small decorative pillows and not comfortable. To be fair... there was a second pillow in the closet which I eventually found. The location was really good. i like Popplesdorf.

Das Personal ist höflich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind etwas älter eingerichtet aber gepflegt. Die Türen sind ein wenig laut. Es gibt mehrere frei zugängliche Aufwendhaltsbereiche im Hotel.

Sehr warm und herzlich eingerichtetes Hotel mit absoluter Detail-Liebe. Gemütliches und sauberes Zimmer, angenehm harte Matratze. Negativ: viel zu kleiner Duschvorhang, man setzt das Bad unter Wasser (hübsch ist nicht alles), keine Aufhängmöglichkeit im Bad für Handtücher, Handtuchhalter hing abgebrochen neben dem Waschbecken. Todos los años vamos a una convención en Bonn y siempre vamos al mismo hotel, tiene un encanto especial, las habitaciones son muy acogedoras y con detalles de la Tía Alma, todas las habitaciones tienen balcón y puedes ir con perritos, además está muy cerca de una zona con restaurantes y bares.

Das Hotel ist zwar nicht das Neueste, das Personal war sehr hilfreich und freundlich, das angebotene Frühstück relativ günstig im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels. Die Umgebung ist sehr sehr ruhig, man ist zu Fuß sehr schnell bei vielen kleine Lokalen und in die Innenstadt von Bonn braucht man auch nicht sehr lange. sehr schön fanden wir den kleinen Balkon des Zimmers. Da habe ich in 5-Sterne Hotels schon schlechter übernachtet. Für eine Kurzaufenthalt würde ich da immer wieder übernachten wollen.
