Wenn das Badezimmerfenster nicht wäre
Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen, man hat einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Rhein. Falls man im Hotel übernachtet, weil man das GOP-Theater besucht: Es besteht eine direkte Verbindung von Foyer zu Foyer, so dass man nach der Vorstellung einen kurzen Heimweg hat. Extrem störend im Zimnmer ist nur das nicht völlig blickdichte Badezimmerfenster in der Innenwand. Nicht nur, dass man so vom Hauptraum aus jemanden beim Duschen beobachten kann, es sorgt auch dafür, dass der Hauptraum hell erleuchtet ist, wenn im Bad das Licht eingeschaltet wird. Ist man zu zweit unterwegs, führt das unweigerlich dazu, dass man den Partner weckt, falls man nachts ins Badezimmer muss. Der besondere Clou dabei ist, dass dieses Fenster keinen logischen Sinn hat. Hier durfte sich anscheinend ein Architekt austoben, bei dem "style over sustance" galt.

The hotel is great, but it would be good to have a restaurant on the roof top open for lunch, and also there are no towels in the changing rooms in the pool, you need to get them at the reception, but the lady was not there all the time

I stayed for 6 nights and have to say I was quite disappointed with the room condition. I had a problem with the shower from day 1 and eventually had to change the room. I booked a king bed but had to move to a room with 2 single beds. I was told that they would bring the 2 beds together and even double checked this with the front desk. They never did this. My colleague also had to change her room since the heater wasnt working and it was freezing cold. The 2nd room i checked into also had trouble with a shower - water was leaking from the shower head. Not worth the money i had to pay.

very pleasant quiet stay. Not in the centre but 6 minutes by tram (subway) so very pleasing and quiet. Very nice bar restaurant (not the hotel's any longer, but 'linked') and michelin noted restaurant -Konrad's- on 17th floor. gorgeous view of the Rhine
