"My 1st stay was so very nice. Room was very clean beds comfy. This visit the room was not very nice. Very uncomfortable. Tv had Dish nothing to watch no local news. Bathroom was not to clean rust in bathtub. Just was not the same as first stay at all. But he area is nice so many stores & places to eat at. "

"It’s an OK hotel. It’s great for a nights stay.. close by the airport. The rooms are just ok. There is not an upscale restaurant.. but food wasn’t bad. "

"The room was clean, note the housekeeping only cleans every 3rd day. $10 per day parking fee. Air conditioner does not cool the room, it blows air but does not cool. Staff was fine and polite. "

"Very nice hotel close to Laguna Woods Village. Room was well furnished and comfortable, lacking only a mini-safe. Staff excellent. Our room had a problem with the window and after maintenance was unable to resolve it, they changed rooms for us promptly. Excellent breakfast and friendly service at the breakfast buffet. Highly recommend the Ayres Hotel for anyone staying in the area!"

"Clean rooms. Beautiful pool area and a lot of activities. We loved everything especially the cabanas with fans and tvs!"

"The guests were friendlier than the staff. None of the staff we ran into couldn’t be bothered with a nod - much less a smile. Only person that was friendly was the lady at the check in desk. The whole building is old and run down. Stains in the bathtub and bathroom floors. Faucet was leaking. The whole place needs an update and remodel. Kept getting kicked off wi-fi. Continental breakfast did not include hot eggs. Just cold boiled eggs. Good thing there were 2 restaurants across the parking lot. I wouldn’t stay here again. "
