This was our first stop in Italy, and the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The bartender offered advice on where to get a meal locally (with local fare), and everyone was incredibly kind. I will stay here again when back in Bologna.

Location was very convenient to the train station. We were able to drop our luggage and head to the central plaza to explore. Everything was clean and people were friendly. Only issue was that the door did not latch on close. It needed to be pushed/pulled to make sure it was secured.

Went for the balcony room, which was a superior option. It was a massive second floor room with a big balcony. However, it was also an accessible room, designed for wheelchairs. Not sure if this was part of the superior room spec, but we didn’t ask for it and the bathroom was a little poorly designed for people that don’t require the accessible amenities. Despite that, the staff were great and it was a really pleasant stay in a great part of town with easy access to the train station.

The hotel was literally across the street from the train station. Nice inside the hotel. There were a couple spots on the carpet on our way to our rooms but other than that fairly clean. They have a breakfast buffet option which was good and had enough options. You could even make your own fresh juice. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the center. On the walk, there is plenty to see and many shops and cafes. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel in Bologna, opposite the train station, staff were excellent and friendly. It does breakfast but no other meals. The only thing (not really negative as we don't mind walking) is that it is a 15/20 minute walk into the city centre.
