30min. walk from train station, better to take a taxi or uber.
Nice staff, helpfull, italian spoke only, but we manage to understand each other.
Clean rooms and bed confy.
Like 20min walk to main attractions, easy to get there.
We stayed 6 nights in this self-service studio while attending the Bologna film festival. The property has a (very narrow) elevator. The room was not large but featured a comfortable bed, table and 2 chairs, and a small kitchen area with a refrigerator, cook top and kitchenware. The bathroom had a nice shower stall with a jacuzzi brand combination rainfall/handheld showerhead, a bidet, sink and toilet with a handheld hose. The neighborhood has many conveniences, including a Carrefour supermarket nearby, an excellent Turkish restaurant, a bus stop nearby, and a mini-mart that’s open very late. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Piazza Maggiore, much of which can be traveled on covered sidewalk arcades, which was great because it was very very hot during our visit.
I really enjoyed the close proximity to the historic centre of the city. Only 10 minutes walk away was Piazza Maggiore, incredible dining choices, and endless social gathering areas to drink and shop. Not in that order. You acnt go wrong with this location.
This was perfect for our trip.
Everything we needed, great distance from the city center and for people who don’t mind walking it was pretty good distance from Bologna Fiere as well.
I slept really well too!
This is a good value for money option. The room was fine and the air conditioning was key. The staff makes an effort. The set of rooms had a shared kitchen which is great. The elevator is about 2 feet wide and maybe 4 feet deep, so be aware. It works fine but two of you plus your luggage will not fit.
The main issue for me was their check in. They sent a note via Expedia that I had to do remote check-in (e.g. no reception) and to contact them via email or WhatsApp three days ahead. I emailed them via Expedia: no reply. I had to Google to find an email for them: got an AI reply that couldn't find my reservation. Called Expedia: their phones were up by then, so they told me to call them and someone would answer. I talked to a human who said I should email them, who I told them I already had. The second email got me the form to fill out, which I did, and a reply that I'd get the instructions around 10 a.m. on my check-in day, which I did. On arriving, the first thing it says is to call a phone number which will buzz me in, and if it doesn't work, to turn off roaming. It doesn't work, I turn off roaming, still didn't work. I look at the names on the apartment directory and one is for ... Reception. So I press it, someone buzzes me in, then a human checks me in. Reception is there from 9a-9p. So... Why did I have to do all the automated process that didn't work anyway? Fix it or drop it.
A "bed and breakfast" without breakfast. I suppose that's better than a B&B without a bed, but still. :)
Other than that, the room is very clean and comfortable. You just have to hope your neighbors are quiet, though, because there's no soundproofing between rooms.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
A Good place for a couple nights
The room was meant to sleep in. No extras.
The bed was uncomfortable. I think it’s time for a new mattress. Bus stop was right out front. The lady in Reception that checked us in was very nice and knowledgeable of the area.

Could be better
The apartment is in very good location, in walking distance from the city centre and with parking facilities. Sandra was very attentive in providing information and assisting where she could. The elevator is useless if you have a big suitcase as it is really really small na narrow. Also the room was small, without fridge and in essence there was no possibility to have even a breakfast as in the common area there was only a table, chairs and a counter with a coffee machine, a dispenser for capsules at 1 euro each, tea, paper glasses, cutlery and a boiler for water. No sink available, so if you wanted to drink water you either had to have bottles in the common fridge or use the WC tap next to the counter. Also there were no plates or bowls. Overall I would say a mediocre stay.
Lets focus on the good stuff about the hotel
Clean - the room is clean, bed is clean, bathroom is clean
AC - although the ac written 25C even i try to bring down to 16, never happen, but outside is 37, i didnt sweat while the AC is on
Staff is very kind and helpful
Bathroom - shower is good and bathroom is clean.
Location - isn't bad, bit further away from the touristy place.
What i dont like about hotel
Bed and pillow, they are very soft, like too soft
window isnt soundproof, so you could hear everything on street at night, including trash or cleaning truck around 2am, ppl play loud music at night, day time? when the sun rise you could hear the insect make loud noise on tree.
curtain do not block light completely, so if you might waken up by light? bring blindfolds
Amazing stay! The room and bathroom were excellent, both clean, comfortable, and perfect for two people. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom had a great shower.
The space was bright and well-ventilated, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location is also very convenient, about a 20-minute walk from the city center.
The host was extremely kind and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. Very recommended a great place to stay in Bologna!
The place is unfortunately extremely noisy. Not from the streets, but from the other apartments, both on the same floor and the one above.
Otherwise a very simple room.
Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nothing special besides that, basic place. We missed a blanket on the bed which was brought to us in minutes, good service. Location is great, super easy to walk into the city center.
However, we also ran out of toilet paper which was never replaced, as well as no clean towels in 4 days.
Room was fine, clean and tidy. About a 15 minute walk from the centre which was great. Communication with the staff was not great, we had to ask multiple times for the self check in information when we landed as it was not sent in the morning as promised. We also had to wait ages for someone to let us in the front door. Asked if we could leave our luggage anywhere before our evening flight and received no reply. You also have to pay €1 to use the coffee machine and it doesn’t work.
A great little place, where you will be made to feel at home and very comfortable. Easy walking distance right to the centre, in 15-20 mins, plus plenty of amenities in the area.
The room was a good size and was comfortable. The location to the city was good. The only issue we had was the wifi was not working for the 3 days we were there.
Excellent communication. Everything as explained and advertised.
Only points for improvement in the apartment I stayed were clenliness under the bed (I got to see that because of my pish ups routine) and shower gel dispenser not working properly.
Close to main sights to see in the primary palazzo of Bologna. Quiet. Clean. Not much in the way of amenities though. We had to have a key to get into the room that had a mini fridge, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, OK I would recommend that the. And be changed as it implied a provided breakfast, which was not the case.
