"The room was in great condition. The staff was all friendly and helpful. For us, the breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel as far what they offered and their staff kept it well stocked and cleaned up (because guests do not know how to simply clean up when serving themselves). We thought the Fairfield in Southport, NC did a great job overall and we enjoyed our stay. The only draw back to us was the parking lot was on the smaller side."

"The halls and stairwells were dirty. Pieces of ceiling tile in the halls and clumps of dirt in the stairwells. Room has a musty smell and toilet seat was broken. The staff were friendly."

"Room service was terrible they did not make the beds clean the room the room smelled musty we had to switch rooms didn't even take the old towels was very disappointed cleanliness was not good and they constantly ran out of food for the breakfast"
