We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, because it's a quiet and charming location just few steps from the lake. The staff is very kind and the hotel also offers and organizes several activities on or near the lake. Also the jams at breakfast are worth to mention.

This was an excellent hostel. Lake view, walkable to town, free parking. Rentals and adventure activities right from the hostel. Nice staff. Bar and restaurant in the hostel. Met some amazing people and had some amazing adventures. Beds were surprisingly comfy. Free breakfast!

Great location

Great location, parking easy, staff nice, breakfast not a lot of choice but plenty and the coffees were lovely. Even a hostel cat! Would stay again.

Bed was pretty crappy, soft and tilted. Noisy room as it was next to the creaky stairs. Lots of activities offered and it’s just by the lake. No gluten-free food available at all.

It is a very dated but well-run hostel. It was clean enough but generally very old buildings. It has the clear distinction of being about 20 meters from the lake with incredible views from the balcony and cafeteria. That makes it worth the price. You wont be wowed by the decor but the service is great and the location is unbeatable.

Lots of noise and no peace here!

If you want a place completely overrun by middle school kids who are left to run wild with screaming, banging doors and absolutely no respect for others staying in the place then this is for you! Managements only comment was that it could have been worse….i can hardly imagine, although things did quiet down at 10:15pm until 7:30 am

No lift and I was needed to take the luggage to walk up to the fifth floor. Very noisy due to Gang of people singing and dancing till 11pm. The facilities are not well maintained.

Chambre parfaite vue sur le lac. Petit dejeune en peu toutjours pareil. Cest parfaite pour des jeunes voyagant en groupe ou seul. Cest un immeuble ancienne donc faut pas s'attedre a des merveilles. Pour y rester et dormir quelque nuit c'est bien. On peu aussi louer des equipement pour des activites comme des velo etc...cest tres convenable.

É uma verdadeira bagunça!! Muito caro!! Colchões que sinto as molas em minhas costas até agora, banheiro compartilhado sujo e sem condições de uso quarto mesmas condições horrível !!! Café da manhã sem muitas opções ( praticamente pão duro e embutido e geleia) !!! Nem presidiário deveria ficar hospedado nessa espelunca !!! Pedi um omelete de café da manhã não podiam fazer !!! O acampamento mais caro da minha vida !! Fora que ficaram andando a noite toda de quarto para quarto os hóspedes e fazia muito barulho o cabo de madeira !! Paguei para ter uma noite de terror e não dormir

Fint läge bredvid sjön och fina omgivningar. Helt ok frukost. Fin matsal och uteplats men maten lever inte riktigt upp till priset. Rummen är enkla och har många år på nacken, men rena. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal

Leider ist das Hotel exrem runtergekommen. Die Farbe blättert an jeder ecke ab, der teppich ist komplett abgenutzt, heizung ging nicht und warmes wasser kam erst nach langen minuten. Frühstück heist, zwei verschiedene brotsorten, die vor dir aus plastikbeutel rausgeholt werden. Dazu 2 verschiedene wurstsorten und 1x käse. Warmes gab es nicht. Gemüse gab es nicht.extrem schlechtds Frühstück. Allem im allem, desaster. Schade. Danke, aber nicht noch mal

The pod was super nice, right on the water, there is a very convenient shovel but zooms up and down the lake to help transport you it’s free transportation :-) wonderful wonderful wonderful A+

Good budget option right on Lake Bohinj

I stayed here my last two nights in Slovenia. I believe there is another building nearby that might have more accommodation options, but they were closed when I was there. I just stayed in the main building on the second floor. I booked a single room with a shared bathroom. They put me in a room with three beds because the single rooms were in the other building. But I had a single room, they didn't put anyone else in there with me, so it worked out fine. The room was pleasantly rustic and cozy with old wooden furniture. The bedding was clean and warm. The sink in the room was convenient. There was one female and one male bathroom for 12 rooms to share. It consisted of one toilet and one shower. It turned out fine and I never ran into anyone else and could use the toilet or shower every time I wanted to. I don't think the hostel was full, but if it was, this might become a little annoying. Breakfast was great! And there was a bus stop RIGHT IN FRONT of the Hostel. It was convenient when it was time to head back to Ljubljana to catch my bus home. Only downside was they didn't clean the bathroom for over 24 hours while I was there. I checked in at 4 pm Wed and they didn't clean the bathroom until 7 am Friday (right before I left). It got a little gross. But not too bad, just lots of hair in the shower and wet floors and full trash cans. I would definitely stay here again and for the price it was definitely a win.

Outdated & worn but clean & on-the-lake

Location, location, location. That is why I picked this place. Right on the lake. But really this place was funkier that I thought; the picture shown when I booked the room was not at all what we got, but it was a good amount of space, we were warm & clean, though a hole in the pillow case, and we were given two small towels the size of hand towels, but some hostels require you rent towels. The bathroom was clean, plenty of hot water, and even though only one per floor/per gender, we never had to wait. Breakfast was so-so, dinner was nice. Service was very nice. The place is just run down & needs a re-do, it reminded me of hostels in the 90s and old ski lodges of the 80s. But there is the lovely view in the dining room & we walked across the street to the lake, very pretty, there is also a bus stop right in front. It was cheap, only $40 per night for two of us, but I would pay more to stay in a nicer place. If you are with a large group & want to do lots of outdoor activities & don't mind some funky-outdated-worn spaces, this place will work.

Luogo incantevole. Ostello affollatissimo di giovani e giovanissimi. Gruppi fuori controllo da accompagnatori e gestori con comportamenti maleducati. Caotica area esterna e sala colazioni con attrezzature insufficienti per giorni affollati.Struttura che necessita di profondo rinnovo anche in impianti e arredi. rapporto prezzo qualità eccessivo.
