This hotel/hostel was just wonderful for the amenities and the aesthetics. I was there as a long weekend tourist and was able to walk to many places of interest. Having an onsite restaurant was a plus and the onsite bar has a 1980's Chicago vibe that I thoroughly enjoyed. If you need a place that's work comfortable Spotty's would be an excellent choice. I hope to return.

I have to be very transparent about my perspective on this place. Very artsy and great artwork however the front desk lacks from professional, lack of energy and no quality of service. No one really speaks English. When you are asking them a question it feels like they are bothered. The fact I complained about my room being extremely cold . I was to give them my passport in order to receive an additional blanket. Beyond ludicrous! I asked what sense did that make . One word staff says “policy” without any explanation. The outside of that area is extremely dirty and dangerous. The only thing that is a positive thing is that you’re close to tourist attractions. You better staying elsewhere. Avoid the place. There’s better with better service. Very noisy and there’s a rooster that screams at the top of their lungs staring at 3am . Breakfast is horrible!

I loved the location! Very walkable and felt safe. The staff, especially the breakfast ones, were awesome! The rooftop area was nice, but the hot tub didn’t have good jets. Elevators were quick and always available. We had one day with no water which really sucked but it’s not really the hotels fault. The beds were not very comfortable and there was a damn rooster waking us up super early but overall it was a great stay and a great price

Noone told us we can't have a clean towel until after 3 days there. The shower got the floor wet so I had to use my towel to dry the floor. I texted the staff on whatsapp and they said leave it on the floor and they'll replace it, well instead they took the dirty towel and never replaced it. The cleaning lady and front desk lied and said they had no clean towels. Finally, my husband went to the front and insisted in which they handed over a clean towel after lying to me about it. Then, we asked for a 2nd room key since 2 of us were in the room and that took asking 2 staff members, before the one on the 2nd day finally gave us one, then we also asked for handsoap for at least one of the sinks and were ignored. I loved the hotel, but dealing with the staff was weird.

Hotel is beautiful and staff is friendly. Its brand new and spotless with lots of areas to handout and even the gym . I just didnt like the area around it. Felt like i was in the getto ( and maybe i was). Piles of trash and scary looking people around

Stayed at the Spotty Hotel 2 nights while visiting Bogota. Hotel staff was very friendly and was close to La Candelaria area and the main boulevard where lots of street vendors were set up. Rooms were interesting in that they were setup in a dorm room setup; two rooms with beds connected by a common mini-kitchen area. Note that no kitchen items were provided in the room. Beds were very comfortable, and the shower water pressure was in abundance. Breakfast was good with lots of selections. Lots of places to hang out and socialize as well. Stay was excellent and was a great find.

Spotty was a great place to stay for my short trip to Bogotá. They did not offer pots/pans as pictured. The WhatsApp line to contact the front desk was also mostly unresponsive. But overall, for a budget friendly stay I would recommend. The room was cleaned everyday and towels refreshed.

This affordable hotel and hostel is conveniently located at some of the most visited tourist attractions. I was visiting Bogota for the first time. This affordable hotel and hostel is conveniently situated near some of the most popular tourist attractions. I was visiting Bogota for the first time and initially planned to stay in Chapinero for seven nights. However, I hesitated to book at Spotty Hotel because the cost for three nights was lower than that of a single night at Chapinero. I’m glad I decided to go ahead and book it at Spotty. I stayed at the other hotel for four nights primarily because it was a ten-minute walk from the clinic where I had medical procedures. If I’m ever back in Bogota for tourism, I’ll definitely stay at Spotty Hotels. Don’t let the low cost fool you; you get a lot of excellent services for a fair price. was going to stay in Chapinero for 7 nights. I hesitated to book at Spotty Hotel because the cost for 3 nights was lower than that of one night at the Chapinero. I'm glad I went ahead and booked it at Spotty. I stayed at the other hotel for (4) nights primarily because it was a 10-minute walk from the clinic I visited for medical procedures. If I'm in Bogota again for tourism, I will stay at the Spotty Hotels. Don't let the low-cost fool you. You get a lot of excellent services for a valued price.

The location of this property is great for getting around since everything is so close. However, there is no AC which means that the windows have to be opened. I believe there’s a college right outside of the hotel and at night, they are incredibly loud. People yelling, the cars, some people even had microphones singing. This was during the weekday, which surprised me. There aren’t fans in the room so the only option was to open the windows. Also, the restaurant does not have all of the ingredients listed for their meals. I asked for a burger that the menu stated came with a fried egg, lettuce, tomato and pickles. When I received the burger, it had a slice of grilled ham on the burger. When I told the waiter he simply said, “they aren’t going to add it to the menu because they’re changing the menu soon anyway”. So, if you’re like me and have food allergies, be sure to ask if the menu has all of the food ingredients listed. Other than those two things, the hotel staff was very nice and attentive. If the roosters at 2:30 am and the loud people don’t bother you, then this is great place.
