The room was not clean and was too hot when we checked in. Bathroom badly needs renovation, it was old and smelly. There is no place in front of the hotel for unloading the car. Other hotels on the same street at least had one spot reserved. I had to park far away. View is good, breakfast is average. At night there was a lot of music sound coming from bars nearby.

Room was clean & cozy, but with hole in bathroom ceiling. Good breakfast with beautiful view. Parking is terrible because the area is so busy. Staff was pleasant but hard to find.

Amazing staff and service, they made us an amazing breakfast every morning and were accommodating of our needs. They went above and beyond with every request and were helpful throughout our stay. The cleanliness and facilities of the hotel and our room left a bit to be desired, but it was made up for by the amazing view at the terrace. The pool was also a great addition, especially after a long day at the beach.

The view from our room was excellent. The breakfast was great & the caretaker of the property was really nice. The view from terrace was really beautiful. The Gumbet beach was very close by & was quiet & lowkey. The wifi in the room was not working but low speed internet was available at the reception. The pool was non functional too but maybe in summer it would be open. Suggest you confirm that from the property if pool is absolutely necessary for you. It was a great & comfortable stay.

Berg Otel is a beautiful family-run hotel with fabulous views. It is convenient to the Gumbet minibus and local restaurants. The breakfast is excellent. I would definitely return here

We had a very good time

We had a very good time at Berg hotel. The only disadvantage is very week WiFi: the signal almost missing and when connected the speed is slow.

We made a mistake with our booking, yet despite showing up a day early with no warning, and calling after 11pm to ask to check in, we were warmly welcomed and accommodated in a lovely room with sea views. We were treated to delicious breakfast each morning and enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with the sunset. Everyone was very hospitable and really made the effort to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Cannot recommend enough!

Best Stay on my 7 Day Trip to Turkey - Thanks!

I had a recent two night stay in this lovely hotel in Gumbet. I totally agree with all the other reviewers' comments. It was my preferred stay during my 7 day trip to Turkey. The room was lovely with gorgeous views from the room balcony and the rooftop. Wifi was great also. The service from the staff was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and it felt like being at home. Breakfast was lovely with the star of the show being the organic black olives for breakfast, not salty, which is the way I prefer them. Thanks to the owner's father who grows and provides them from the family farm! I hope to return at some stage for a longer stay and see more of this lovely area.

Otele kış mevsiminde yani sezon dışı konakladığımız için yazın gidecekler için yorumumuz belirleyici olamayabilir. öncelikle anladığımız kadarıyla aile işletmesi olması dolayısıyla işletmecilerin sıcak kanlılığı sorunları çözmeye odaklı davranışları yazın burada konaklayacaklar için değişmez öğelerden olacağı için ilk önce bunu belirtmek istedim. Sonrasında yine sezon dışı olduğundan otel küçük tefek tadilattaydı, odalar gerektiği kadar ne çok eksik ne çok fazla yaz konaklaması için mükemmel ancak bir kışın gittiğimiz için biraz üşüdük. ısıtma klima ile olunca bize kış mevsiminde biraz yetersiz geldi. resepsiyon kısmında şömine olması otele otantik bir hava katmış. kahvaltı oldukça yeterli ve doyurucu. otoparkı olmadığı için yazın belki sorun olabilir. Genel olarak otelden ayrılırken bizde olumlu bir iz bıraktı. Ayrıca Mithat beye o güzel portakal hediyeleri için tekrar teşekkür etmek isterim.
