I've stayed at River Lodge and number of times in their cabins. I always enjoy my stay. The cabin is roomy with great views of the river. Will definitely stay there again.

There's a lot of empty space in eastern Oregon. Boardman was a pleasant place to take a break. It's a tiny town and not near any of the bridges iver the Columbia but it felt safer than other communities we drove through on the way.

We were passing through, but given more time we would eat at the cute pizza place within walking distance, and spend more time walking on the shoreline.

This hotel is normally one of our favorites, very quiet, clean comfortable rooms, so my not -so- positive review is directed at staff more than anything!
