「When we arrived in our room it had a bad odor. While I do know this room was only $70 I did not expect there to be this many problems. The blinds did not wrap around the window so people in the parking lot could see you. The sheets were torn and we had to get new ones. The over head sprinkler was leaking and they had paper towel shoved in there to absorb the water. The shower head was leaking. Upon the property manager showing us our room she had a sticky note on the thermostat which stated “do not change “ in bold letters. The temperature in our 2nd floor room was 79, not hateful but it escalated to 83 by 6 pm. I then sent a message to the manager indicating our frustration and wanted immediate attention. 「The property is historic, so it reflects the 240 years since built. If you value historical sites, this is the property for you. The Chef was very kind and thoughtful. Breakfasts were very good. Our bathroom needed updating and under the beds hadn't been dusted in a while. Comfortable and clean beds. Slow internet considering the locale. Tuesday and Wednesday nights not the best for dining options in the area.」
