"If you are looking to unplug and enjoy nature, this is the place. The unique cabins offer excellent privacy and are kept immaculate and quiet. There is no cell service. They offered Wifi but we were not lucky to connect which we actually loved because it forced us to step away from the real world. Plus, being right outside the park entrance meant we beat all the traffic and had no lines."

"Alexander Inn was the perfect place to go for a quiet personal retreat. The room was small but well appointed with a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. This was very much appreciated since the dining out options were very slim. The staff person was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to be able to check in before the appointed time. The backyard was quiet and peaceful and I felt well entertained by the enormous trout in their little lake. I would definitely go back."

"Checked in late and off season. Even though there's no gate guards the entrance was still available to allow visitors for Mount Rainier and checks ins to pass. Showers and bathrooms are communal. There's obviously no reception there. The breakfast staff were really kind and the meals were delicious!"

"All was nice however, TV did not work. A new TV was installed and we couldn’t get it to work either. We gave up. We couldn’t let them know when we check out as the office staff did not come in until 8 and we left before that. Other than that all was great "

"Very nice stay with comfortable beds and clean rooms!! Only thing is there is not enough towels or amenities if more than two people. We booked a couple of rooms. One was for 3 people but we only got 1 bed and 2 towels. It could of been a mistake on my own end too but then the Cottage we booked for sleeping 6 people was super nice but only had 3 towels and there is no front desk to ask for more. Overall nice place and the Cottage was very roomy!!"
