"I enjoyed my stay at the Kimball Terrace inn. The staff in the lobby/gift shop (open 24 hours) were kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was beautiful and looked clean, but I didn't get a chance to use it. I enjoyed the onsite restaurant/ lobster pound also. Walking distance to quaint shopping district and right across from a pier. During the season, it is on the free shuttle route (I was there a week before the shuttle started, so I couldn't take advantage, but I had a rental car anyway). Older place with old fashioned keys and older decor, but VERY well kept. It was accessible with an elevator. I would definitely stay there again if I am visiting the area."
"Great location and lovely place. We enjoyed our stay here and hope to return on our next trip to Maine. The room was clean, staff was friendly and the parking convenient."
"I had a very pleasant stay at Whitehall. The hotel is stylish, quiet, and beautifully designed. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
I have just a couple of suggestions that could improve the guest experience. First, the parking instructions could be clearer. The on-site parking lot is quite small, and it wasn’t obvious that street parking is also available. A sign or clearer directions at check-in would be very helpful.
Second, I wasn’t able to find an accessible ramp at the entrance. It appeared that only stairs were available. If there is a ramp, it wasn’t obvious, and better signage would make it much easier for guests traveling with luggage or anyone needing accessible access.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend Whitehall to others. With a few small improvements to the parking and entrance signage, the experience would be even better."
"The tent was great, the screen was loose in some sections that allowed for mosquitoes to come in, but overall wasn't bad and to be expected. Amenities were great, the free ice and cooler were convenient, however, our cooler the zipper was broken. Complimentary breakfast had alot of great options! The coffee bar was some of the best we've had! Overall, staff was friendly and helpful and we loved the vibe. Very convenient to Acadia and Bar Harbor."
"My wife and I loved our stay! Breakfast was amazing, the view and property in general was beautiful, the room was clean and perfectly sufficient for us, and we loved being right outside of Camden and not too far from everywhere else. Really wonderful spot, and we'll be back!"
"Beautiful surroundings and grounds!!! Great sized room. The pool was freezing however, luke warm at best. Too cold for an adult to use and bright light shined under the door to the room all night.
Really enjoyed the outdoor fire in the fireplace at night."
