"When we got there, checked into 102, I walked in smelled stale cigarette smoke covered up by air freshener & immediately walked out. My husband has severe asthma & there's no way he was safe. At the desk, she wasn't unable to move us cause booked through Expedia but she was able to reach the supervisor who moved us to a perfect room 116. The room was comfortable & felt fancy. The sheets were so so so soft. I never heard any noise from the hallway or outside & you control the AC & I love cold. I'd say that's one of my best hotel sleeps. A couple weird things though, the TV remote didn't work & the desk they said there was a note to order batteries but no one had ordered batteries. They gave me a couple other remotes to try but they didn't work. We had to stand there & push the buttons on the side of the TV which was pretty silly. Breakfast could have been good because I love those waffles but they had no butter. Those waffles are naturally really dry & without butter they are almost inedible. Of course I ate it anyway because that's why we paid & chose this hotel but the lady said she ordered butter but it didn't come in & wouldn't be there until Friday. This was Monday. In this case, I think someone needs to just go to Costco or Sam's or Walmart & get butter patties & call it a day. Someone needs to be able to do their shopping when there is a lack of something that's reasonably expected like batteries & butter. Lastly IL law says smoking 15ft from door. Move bench & enforce"
