「We came to this property because it was described on expedia web page as being pet friendly. There was, however a $50.00 pet deposit, preferably in cash, refundable upon check-out if no extra cleaning or pet damage noted. This was not mentioned in hotel's description. The facility was obviously undergoing rehab of old furniture and decorating with some completed and some not. However, we spent the night, slept ok, were able to take a shower, (no hand holds for entering or leaving the tub and...

「Avoid. We were sold a room without running water. Front desk guy was great, he gave us the next door room and told us not to worry about returning the key for the original room: great, because our baby had already gone to sleep. Next thing I know, the hotel owner/manager/whatever tried to let himself into our rooms at 10pm. I told him I’d pay for two rooms just to get him out of my hair. Not coming back ever.」

「Room was very nice, clean. Front desk clerk was very nice. Did not use the pool. My only complaint is the $75 pet fee. This is outrageous. I have never paid more than $25 for a pet fee. It would be very helpful if Expedia would post the pet fees. For this reason I will never stay at a Marriot hotel again. I have traveled with dogs all my life and they are/were well trained and have never, ever damaged a hotel room or airbnb home.」
