「Not the greatest neighborhood, but the bed was clean and comfortable, however the floor was filthy (as my husband had white socks on and they were black). A lot of humidity in the room and it seemed damp. Went down once to ask a question to the person working the front desk - nowhere to be found. 「The staff was very kind and had smiles for my son. It was my first time stopping in West Virginia, and I was pleasantly surprised. I choose it for the pool, but the pool is in the middle of the parking lot, so I don’t recommend it. but the staff were great and it’s very clean.」

「We have been staying at this hotel at least twice a year for 8 years. The staff are always welcoming, kind and helpful. My complaint is that new ownership (we were told this by staff) has taken over and the cost of the rooms went up significantly. The cost has outpaced the return and sadly — we will find another place to stay in the future. This is not a reflection on the staff — they are and have always been great.」

「We stayed because we needed enough room for 5, that was good. The building is old and alittle run down. First the door wouldn't open, we finally got it to open. We closed the door and needed something else from the car and the door wouldn't open. After several tries we finally got it open. The attendant had to come and take part of the threshold off the bottom of the door,so we could get in and out. I wouldn't stay there again.」

「Overall felt safe, clean environment, and slept well. Hot shower and cold AC. The elevator did not seem very sturdy but it worked & the ice maker on the 2nd floor didn’t work. The breakfast was good, however since it was busy the food ran out the employees did their best to replenish the food. We wouldn’t mind staying again, especially for the price.」
