「Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful.」

「The whole point was to have the pool and hot tub- both were out of order, and from a walk I took around the property, this has been a long time issue that was not disclosed on the website. If I had known about their maintenance shortfalls I would have selected another location. Traveling as a hearing impaired person is always an adventure, enhanced by an overzealous employee who tried at least 6 times to give me a waffle. 「I had to ask for a different too. Cause the blankets were dirty in the first one. Got a new one and same problem plus it was a smell in the room. The hot water pressure sucked ass. Overall I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel.」

「I have been staying at this hotel for many years, but this was the last time. The Internet access is horrible. It times out at least once per hour, requiring you to refresh your login to get on line. Sometimes, the speed is so slow you can hardly download email. Another coworker of mine has made the same decision for the same reason. Beyond that, the breakfast is really poor.」

「I enjoyed staying at this property. It was close to everywhere I planned to visit. It was clean and well maintained. We did have a bit of a problem with the cards accessing our room, but the gentleman at the desk took care of that immediately. The pool was nice. I loved seeing Howie, was friendly and such a pleasure to greet us. I would definitely recommend staying here.」

「I grew up In Algona and had the opportunity to visit family this year alone due to my spouse having used all her vacation time on a brief illness. This motel has been there since before I can remember and has been very well maintained over the years. I believe the current owners are different than I remembered but were so helpful and polite. I would recommend it to anyone looking for lodging in Algona.」
