「It's OK to stay. Breakfast is good enough. But the back door is not well secured」

「Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was a hit or miss. I don’t know if it was poor planning or just a lot all at once but they were not ready for the influx of crowds for grandmas marathon weekend. We came down to breakfast at 7 in the morning on a Friday and all the breakfast was gone, waffle batter empty, pans of food completely out and no coffee at all. I think they should adequately prepare better in the future. Other than that, stay was good.」

「It’s very vintage and a historic. So you have to be ok with not having modern furniture and things like an automatic room temp control- we had a ceiling fan and window. It was cool outside, but there is occasional noise from being on the main st in Superior. -Staff were very friendly and supporting us for Grandmas marathon. -Parking is super easy and free -Close to UW superior (less than 7 mins by car) for bus pickup. -it was very very affordable for a hotel room during Grandma’s...

「The hotel was very dirty. The room had not been cleaned in a while with visible dirt, etc. on the walls and floors. There was hair in the bed when I checked in, an old contact on the floor, blood stains on the mattress. The room smelled horrible when we walked in. Do not recommend. It was gross.」

「We spent our 5th anniversary there. The furniture in our room had seen better days, which didn't matter to us, other than that everything else was really good. There was a bartender in the lounge on Thursday night 6/11 with a unique name which I can't remember, who was great! We got in late, and decided to have a couple drinks before bed. He made us feel welcomed, and was fun to talk to. He seemed to really enjoy his job. We will be back next time we are in the Superior/Duluth area.」

「Cute little place on Lake Superior! The place was very clean and the staff was very kind & helpful. The hotel has a popcorn bar with fixings from 4-7pm in the lobby and smores in the evening out on the patio area, both were a great “free” perk! Only things that weren’t great was that the hot tub is pretty small (capacity of 5 people) and the balconies don’t have a lot of privacy. Otherwise a very nice stay!」
