A Very Poor Choice of Hotel

I'm usually pretty good at choosing my accommodation and flights. I left this in the hands of Expedia.it. Now, Expedia.com and Expedia.co.uk have always been very good but Expedia.it - I'm shocked. They give the hotel 3.5 stars when it isn't worth even 1 star. The rooms are filthy, the bathroom was not only filthy but without toiletries completely and holes in the towels!! The rooms do not have internet - nor does the lobby for that!! We found the staircase a shambles of beer bottles because the elevators didn't work. At night the bar was full of male and female drunkards (not residents of the hotel) who were very noisy until late at night. I would not, under any circumstances, recommend this hotel - not even for a night.

Horrible stay

Séjour horrible dans cette hotel laissé à l'abandon. Personnel pas serviable du tout, ne parlant pas un mot français ou anglais. Nous n'étions qu'une quinzaine de clients. Les photos avancées par l´hotel ne reflètent pas la réalité. ascenceur en panne, probleme avec la clef de la chambre. climatisation odorante, literie très inconfortable, chambre vetuste, salle de bain sale. les couloirs menant aux chambres sont également sales. nous n´avons meme pas osé tester la piscine. le petit déjeuner rudimentaire avec encore une fois salle de restaurant sale, notamment les napes tachées. enfin la situation géographique de l´hotel n´est pas optimale. à 1h á pied du centre ville de Bizerte, et tres difficile de trouver un taxi, qui plus est honnete.

Could be much better

The room was not renovated since min. 15 Years. The bath tub showed black trackss, the toilet flush was broken, the lights were partly out of order, the matresses where at least 15 years old and done, the sheets had brandholes from cigarettes. The furniture was old and shabby . The elevator was not working reliable, the staircase was an awfull mess, the litter has been there for years, the lights in the staircase did not work. The Lobby was going to break, the waterfall was not switched on, half of the installations in the building were closed or blocked. The food was ok. The setting is gorgeous Pools and bars are from ok, till good. Originally it was a very nice building,with a wonderful setting and a lot of possibilities, hopefully it can be "reactivated". It has a lot of charme, it only needs a propper concept and people working in the hotel who care about....

Très ancien Hotel! Très mal entretenu, pas agréable ni confortable. Des cafards et des criquets dans la chambre nous ont empêchés de dormir, nous évitons de rester dans la chambre la journée comme une partie de la nuit, même nos réclamations n'ont rien changé, les responsables ont trouvé la chambre infestée de bêtes ( j'ai pris des photos), ... toutes les autres chambres sont similaires. Nous avons quitté les lieux le troisième jours à 5h du matin alors que nous avons payé pour 13 ! Hôtel à éviter !!!

A Stay to forget

Terrible hotel with terrible staff. Very old hotel with rude and non trained staff. Don't stay there unless you really have to. Beds and pillows are not comfortable. Towels are really old and disgusting. Spend more money and stay somewhere else. The pool is dirty and poorly maintained. Location is the only good thing but not enough. It seems like this hotel is struggling to stay open but they are not doing enough to survive. Management does not care about customer satisfaction.

La beauté du site, les jolies plages, très bien!!

Bizerte est une très jolie ville du nord de la Tunisie, l’hôtel est très bien situé, la nourriture est d'excellente qualité, l'environnement du site est très agréable avec de beaux jardins , la vue de la chambre sur la mer est vraiment bien)) très bon séjour
