「We recently stayed at the Gem on a Saturday night and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is stylish, well run and the staff can't do enough to assist you. Everyone was so professional. Also worth noting is that the Full English breakfast is excellent. 」

「Comfortable mattress. I have a scoliosis and an old and / or low quality mattress causes me back ache. Kings Arms mattress does not leave me with back ace, unlike many other hotel mattresses!」

「We had a one night stay in this gorgeous hotel before our flight. We got a great deal when we booked as it was just opening again after refurbishment. The room was lovely and spacious. Ear plugs were provided as it sits under the flight path for Stansted. Breakfast was the only meal we ate there and was ok (my wife won't eat cooked breakfast without hash browns, so she stuck to yoghurt and fruit) It's a delightful hotel perfect for a stay before the airport which is a 5 minute drive away 」

「We decided to start our holiday early and stay at the Stansted Airport Lodge before our 7am flight the following morning. We didn't arrive at the hotel until about 10pm but were we greeted at reception by a friendly and helpful staff member and shown to our room. The room was basic but spacious and you could see the airport from one of the windows. We weren't there long as we left at 4:30am but we did have a few hours sleep in a comfortable bed. We would stay here again if we had an early flight...

「Close to Stansted airport. Bear in mind £4 per trip to and from airport. Breakfast included. So very good for value. In general it’s a but dated. McDonald’s and M&S food hall just a min walk away. For a brief stay to catch an early flight. Very good choice. 」

「A business trip and had a commercial meeting at ESSAX suite, everything was well! Service was nice, restaurant offers typical British breakfast. Only a problem, the air conditioner will be re-set to the low temperature randomly. 」
